Records later - actually have not kept records for last few days. Know that I made money on Tuesday :D

Played the following:



NJ Nets @ MIL Bucks
(Point Spread) NJ Nets -3.0
Risk: 110.00 To Win: 100.00



No time to write up analysis since its almost 1 am and I have to wake up in 5 hrs to go to work. Hopefully will get enuf time @ work to put some inputs in. I have looked at the teams and the motivation levels of both teams and think this would be a good bet.

*** Please dont go on past trends with NJ. Team has changed totally. Also Bucks are much different team with Big Dog not there and they are still adjusting.

*** Why shud Cleveland by dogs of 9.5 against the Wizards ?
*** Hornets Seattle line is 177. Looks lot to me.

Nets At Bucks:

Have to go to a meeting so not much time for writeup but will post a couple of angles that I look for:

1. How the teams are playing:

NJ has been playing extremely well since the season started. Other than the trade for Mutombo their other players are the same with Kidd in command. Jefferson has been playing amazing since he has started in place of the departed Van Horne. Mutombo adds a defensive presence which was lacking before.

Bucks are still getting used to playing without the Big Dog. Kukoc is a player who is not as consistent as Robinson. Allen and Cassell have not been shooting the ball well. The lone victory for Bucks came against the Knicks in NY. Event here Knicks had come close and were actually outrebounding the Bucks until the bucks pulled away to win by 9.

I think both teams are heading in different directions.

2. Motivation

NJ management has said that nothing short of a trip to the finals will do this year. This message has been recieved by the players and they are playing accordingly. I am sure one of the reasons for getting Mutombo was to match up with Shaq who annhilated them in the paint in last years finals.

Bucks have won 4 straight at home against NJ. I am sure this adds incentive for Nets to win here.

Bucks meanwhile ended last season on a dismal note and that has carried over into this season. The only bright spot is the play of Redd.

3. Bench

NJ has a very deep bench compared to the Bucks. I think NJ definitely has the advantage in this area and it will be reflected in the score.

4. Rebounding

I think the Bucks will not be able to contain the Nets on the glass.

I have other angles also which favor Jersey but these are some.

Having said that - Bucks are like a roller-coaster team. They are capable of playing great basketball and then play horrible ball next day. Bucks have absolutely no defence. NJ has some sorta defence.

Hopefully Bucks won explode at home and NJ will come out with a 11 point victory.



# If you see previous years stats u will see stats like Bucks have won 4 straight home meetings against NJ - Nets are 0-7 ATS after winning by certain number of points etc.

This does not mean Bucks will not win but in my opinion please do not place a huge importance on these sorta trends. Some trends r good no doubt. But if team composition has changed then trends dont seem logical to me to go on.
