I think Jack might be gone for the weekend, so here is what I wrote up for my page today.

ORLANDO -5 1/2 over Washington 330/300

Washington continues to be unable to defend. They give up a very high shooting percentage. Though Orlando is hardly a good team, their shooting percentage numbers have been strong and they should take advantage of Washington?s weakness in this area.

Portland vs. CHICAGO Over 183 220/200

Both teams have terrible shooting percentage defense, which should lead to a lot of points. Both teams have also had a few games recently that have gone under deceptively, meaning that certain things happened that usually lead to the over, but the game stayed under. Generally that means an over play is a good play in the near future.

What to do at the half? Orlando up big, but in a bit of foul trouble and looking uninterested all of the sudden.

Washington -2.5 in the second half seems like a very nice shot at a middle.

This Portland over may have been the poorest handicapped game I've played all year. I loved the over but didn't want to bet it because it was available for 182 but my best price was 183. This was a perfect example of why you should follow your rules. I got loose with my rule about making sure I am no more than 1/2 point from the best line. There is a reason this line was a full point lower at Pinnacle. I handicapped two terrible defensive teams matching up with Chicago being able to score outside and Portland being able to score inside. Instead what I got is 43% and 31% shooting and one of the easier under calls of the year. I see IE was on this under. I should have checked his page when I was hemming and hawing about this play.
