The reason I love this game is simple. NC has stepped up their play. Maryland, while tough at home, lacks 3 pt threats and are terrible at the foul line. I would not be surprised to see NC St win outright and this has backdoor cover written all over it. You will see Maryland nursing a lead at the end of the game and knocking down 1 of 2 at the line while NC St chips away. Hodge poses match-up problems with his speed and length. NC St is also the top FT shooting team in the conference and Maryland is a bunch of hacks defensively.
