NC State +14

I know some people on here already like NC State. Looks like they flew in today and will head directly from airport to game.

I've been in the area most of my life and I've been around State fans all my life. If there's one thing NC State loves, its adversity. They don't want to be the favored team, they don't want things to be easy...they hate losing but they also don't want to be UNC and be expected to win. They want their wins to "mean something".

I don't know that it plays into today...all I know is that this program and its fans yearn to win through adversity. They want it to be March 1983 every game they play.

And today they go up against #1 Syracuse...on the road...flight issues where they have to just battle through "insurmountable odds".

Someone told me about the flight delay or whatever and warned me of my bet....I told him I liked it even more lol...don't think State pulls the upset but I think they play well and keep it close most of the game. NC State +14

As long as State is patient on offensive they should keep game close.
Warren loves midrange jumpers and he should find holes in the zone. If Cat Barber gets going too fast State will be at disadvantage. Fortunately Lewis should run a patient offense and get most of the minutes at the point.

Nice call. I really wish these bastards wouldn't have blown it. I am getting really sick of seeing Syracuse pull of miracles to stay unbeaten.

Really think the college game needs to update a lot of rules. Shot clock way too long...can't advance ball to halfcourt on timeout. The big one I saw last night....State should have had 2 + ball on a clear path foul....instead, not even in the bonus, they have to take it out of bounds and Syracuse gets a steal and a score. Horrible non-rule in the college game.

Clear path I can go either way, but I totally agree with everything else. Shot clock length is the number one rule that needs to be changed. Number Two is the three-point line. Move that back a couple feet!

Yes! Can't believe I didn't put that in...I don't necessarily want the NBA 3-pt line....wouldn't be opposed to it though....really just want the international line, which is 22 feet I believe.

And with a shortened shot clock, by all means...please get rid of the archaic 5-second closely guarded rule.

I also think teams like Syracuse are going to show that college might need some form of an illegal defense, such as the defensive 3-sec in the lane.

I don't want college to be exactly like the NBA but it really needs to move forward.
