here's a cut and paste of my response to another capper's posted goy on the huskies today:
as a loyal wolfpacker, i was intrigued to see the huskies as your goy. ca't say i blame you. while i see the wolfpack as improved this year, i would never think of playing on them in their first road game of the year, esp at a credible opponent. good road play has been noticeably lacking during sendek's tenure.
however, the 163 total has drawn my interest. the number seems inflated based on several reasons - huskies tendency to run the court, good shooting teams, wolfpack playing some early home games up tempo.
but sendek is well aware of state's road woes of recent past. the result is this carefully planned cross country road trip, well after exams, first to seattle and then tuesday at byu. sendek constucted this trip with tournament time in mind, and will treat it as a long range planning exercise. with all that in mind, i refuse to believe that herb will be content to run the floor without restraint with the cougars at altitude coming up in 48 hours. while sendek works the full court game when it plays out to his advantage, his teams are more confortable in a deliberate half court offense complimented with intensive team defensive pressure. unless the wolfpack loses complete control of this game, i see it playing out a good 15 points under te total. g/l today.
