almost forgot to post this.

georgia (-3) 6 units
georgia 1st Half (-1.5) 2 units. let me be clear.... i am betting too much on this game simply because it's the NC. i don't like georgia in this game anywhere near as much as i did against michigan. but i'm a donkey and it's the NC. more of a gut feeling than anything here. full body of work this season, georgia was the better team. and, as ridiculous as it may sound, the dawgs didn't really have much to play for in the SEC championship game. who cares about a conference championship when the NC is within your grasp? that's the real prize.

that sounds right. But you just cant lose a game because the bigger fish is coming. When you do that you normally end up getting kicked in the nut sack.

Both teams have good field goal kickers. But if it comes down to winning by a field goal I have to say it will fall on Alabama side.

Hey Smitty! I enjoy reading your stuff. I sorta lean Ga as well but I?m gonna wait till Monday. I do wanna mention this. Georgia wanted to win the SECCG very badly! For one Alabama has beat Georgia 7 in a roll. But more importantly it prob would have wrapped up the NC for them having eliminated the only team that realistically can beat them. In my mind it?s a totally coin flip.

i already did. at the most, this would be a 4-unit play for me. but, you know, nc and all.

if alabama starts easily moving the ball through the air again, i'm going to kiss my money goodbye. not sure if i'll even get some 'bama in-game before the line moves too much. really hoping it doesn't come to that.

i get ya. and without knowing the mindset of every player in that locker room, it's hard to say. but there would be nothing sweeter for the dawgs than beating the tide in the nc.

i just watched the first series for each team. alabama gave young a lot of easy throws to get into the game. georgia put WAY too much on bennett. i'm hoping he settles down and, you know, hangs onto the football. but after just a few plays, this game looks too big for him.

a little, but i keep waiting for him to make that one huge mistake.

and, for fucks sake, they need to remember to run the damn ball once in a while.

well, as always... thank you, ncaa, for putting this on late on a monday night so sane humans on the east coast can't watch the 2nd half. i'll zip through it on the dvr in the AM. i'm sure that's why the sponsors pay the big bucks.

Nice call Smitty....

right back atchya :toast:

feel more than a little lucky. the injury to.... wiliams?... was probably the difference. that left alabama with some talented but inexperienced guys at wr.

and, while i still believe pretty much every football coach is a complete moron except saban and belichick, kudos to the georgia staff for understanding what every single football fan in america knew... they only hope was to bring a lot of pressure on young.
