Probably a few too many plays than I'd like last weekend but overall not too bad. Really suffering with the 3N3 plays but we'll get to that next. Jumping on a few lines early to keep the value:

Rutgers -2 - I'm jumping back on the Scarlet Knights bandwagon as they have done us well so far. (2-1 SU, 3-0 ATS) Schiano has 3 Blue Chip recruits supposedly coming to the game this weekend and with the Big East schedule starting the following weekend I expect RU to be 3-1. Line should be 5-6 in my mind

SC +16.5 - More of a fade against Ten. than anything but the last 3 years this has been an intense rivalry with the games decided by 8 points or less. Too many points for the 'Vols to cover as Holtz has his boys ready to play.

Minn -3 - Joe Pa and Co. are in for a rude awakening this weekend. Minnesota comes in 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS L5 and will be no match for the Lions. They have averaged over 42 ppg during that run and should score between 31-34 points meaning Penn State will have to break 30 points to cover. This team is not meant for shoot-outs and the buzz for Paterno's head will continue to grow.

3N3
LW 1-2
YTD 1-5

Thank goodness this does not come into play this weekend as this has been awful to say the least. I'll still stick with it and make the plays and track it but we need a strong two months to recover and keep the 62% I've mentioned.

Adding USC -13 - Carrol and his staff have had two weeks to plan for this game and should be able to pick apart Cal. This team is arguably the best defensive team in the nation and the offense has done more than enough to get the job done so far. Looks like a 34-13 game in my mind. ;)

I hope the Gophers show up and play like they should.... sometimes away from the carpet in the dome.... they lose the fun and gun style

here's to a great weekend...:toast:

freelancc- I agree that Minn. is not as dominant as they are at home but Penn State has shown nothing this year. Good luck this weekend!

Adding:

FSU- 29 - Lowest the spread has been in this series in 6 years and arguably the best defense for FSU since '99 which points to a possible shut-out. At the most Duke score 10-13 putting FSU at 40-42 range which is easily manageable.

Oregon -4 - Showed depth and overall talent last week and I'm still kicking myself for not putting them in a teaser. Washington State is no pushover but I'm taking the talent and momentum for the Ducks.

Northwestern +22 - With McMullen under center no way the 'Bucks score more than 34. I can easily see N'Western scoring 13 possibly getting a back-door cover to make it 20. Tressel will do what he does best...win ugly. Bucks rush for 220+ yards and win 30-13.
