5-1 YTD
Nice start to the season last week and I'll look to continue the streak with 5 plays so far this weekend:
Colorado -3 - We saw that the Buffs can light up the scoreboard through the air but what about on the ground? UCLA's defense is average at best and returns only 5 players from last year. The Buffs took care of business in CA last year winning 31-17 and I think the books are off by 4-5 points here.
Marshall +20 - I'm going to go against the trend here and take the 'Herd. Tenn showed nothing as far as the passing attack last weekend and I am truly rethinking my preseason hype of this team. Claussen needs to step up in this game but I think Fulmer realizes the running game is by far the strength. A fast-paced high scoring game favors Marshall as Hill will put up big numbers and keep the game close.
UConn -16.5 - This is a team who's gone 8-2 ATS the last 10 games and is on roll. Here is something else to ponder; Army lost to Navy 58-12 and UConn beat Navy 38-0... should be 9-2 by Saturday night.
Mizzu -14 - I really like the offensive potential with this team as it reminds me of the Iowa State team with Senaca Wallace. Mizzu blew out Ball State last year 41-6 and nothing is pointing against that happening this year.
FSU -14.5 - The swagger is back and rightfully so in "Bobby's World" Maryland comes off the upset at No. Ill last weekend to a fired up FSU team out to prove themselves. This one could and will get ugly... this should be 17 points at the books so take this gift.
