georgia tech (+5.5) over connecticut
georgia tech/connecticut over 146.5
can count the number of times ive played the same game side/total in the last five years on one hand. i normally abhor it. but i think its the way to go tonight.
georgia tech has played some really low scoring games in the ncaa tournament this year but theyre still a push-it-up-the-floor team that likes to get out in transition. even their national semifinal game with osu was an up and down game for most of the 40:00. the only way i see this game getting away from tech is if theres a ton of points. i cant see uconn covering a lower scoring game, especially with their free throw shooting.
i think tech can win the game, but the only thing keeping me away from the moneyline is (believe it or not) the outcome of the preseason nit game. i wish they would have never played. that way uconn might think they outclass tech and would take them a little lighter. but while laying that ass kicking on uconn buoyed techs confidence, i think it will keep uconn from overlooking tech here.
tech trying to get up and down the floor for easy baskets should be met with acquiescence from a uconn team that likes to play the same way. not going in with hopes of a split per se, but really cant see losing both.
(by the way, wilson -- you werent kidding about guys ripping off nicknames and posting under them at other sites. i think there are a few gman and senor capper impostors along with other frauds at various sites. way too much free time for some guys i guess)
