A very boring week in college football for me last week. Tough loss with best bet Wyoming losing in overtime. Strange year so far as I am down in college and holding my own in the pro?s. Usually I win in the colleges and get killed in the nfl. Lets try this again. I am due for a breakout week in college football?should happen soon.
Syracuse +7 vs Pittsburgh (best bet)????..Ok, I know how this works. I am a Pitt fan, I am getting my hopes up that they might actually be good. Here is where coach Dave usually screws up. Syracuse not what they used to be, but they are taking some steps in the right direction. Pitt has always struggled at the carrier dome. Getting a touchdown, at home, with an improved Orangemen team looks pretty solid to me. I would not be shocked to see Pitt lose this game outright.
Wake Forest +16.5 vs Clemson (best bet)????This one scares me a little, but sometimes those are the strongest picks. Clemson has always been known to be very tough at home, but not on the road. Even though the tigers are clearly the better team, they should not be favored by this many on the road. Wake is actually 5-0. No they have not played a tough schedule, but they have to be full of confidence with this start and getting a chance to play Clemson on their own field. Wake has knocked Clemson off a few times in the past, so to stay within 16.5 points in not too much to ask for. Clemson will win this game, but only by ten at the most.
Florida -2 vs LSU (strong play)????Maybe it is my imagination, but it seems the home team almost always come through in big SEC matchups like this. Deep down I think LSU is the better team, but not at Florida. No doubt this game will go down to the wire, but I feel Florida will pull it out by 3 to 6 points. Home field is huge in the southeastern conference.
Maryland +14 vs Georgia Tech (strong play)?????I don?t have a lot of reasons behind this pick other than a strong gut feeling. Tech the better team, but I have a feeling Maryland plays a great game this week and takes this one down to the wire. I look for a defensive struggle in this one and if I am right about that?fourteen points will be as good as gold. Tech usually gets surprised once a year by somebody and I have a crazy feeling this is the week it happens.
Connecticut +6.5 vs S Florida (regular play)???I don?t know what it is the attracts me to betting on U Conn, but I seem to take them a lot. If they lose this week I think it is time to jump off the boat. I just don?t see anything special about S Florida. I guess this is just as much a play against them as it is on Connecticut. The only thing going for S Florida is the home field and that is not worth a touchdown.
Georgia +2.5 vs Tennessee (regular play)????Another SEC home team I am taking. Very similar game to the Florida/LSU matchup. Tennessee very much improved this year, but I don?t feel they are good enough yet to go into Georgia and win this game. Should be another SEC battle down to the wire with Georgia finding a way to win at the end.

Purdue +11 vs Iowa???..Just feel this will be a shootout, like many Purdue games are. Purdue loses a lot of high scoring games and this will be another one. Iowa wins 31-21.
Texas -3.5 vs Oklahoma???..This line was at six not that long ago. I guess everybody thinking what a rivalry and the points will be good. Six I would be tempted to take. I feel there is now value in this line dropping like it did. You don?t get Texas at home at these odds very often. I will try it.
Penn State -3 vs Minnesota????Penn State playing at Ohio State still sticks in my mind. They were tied in the fourth in that game, so they should be able to handle an over rated Minnesota team.
This season is really flying by. We are nearly at the halfway point already. All this talk about internet gambling maybe coming to an end has me down a bit. Are we all wasting our time and maybe money now? I don?t feel good about this at all.
