finally hit my best bet and both top plays last week. still a very disappointing year for me. made all my picks last week on tuesday for the whole week and did ok, so i am doing it again this week. no time to think or read too much about the games. just going with gut feelings again this week.
wisconsin -6 over minnesota (BEST BET).............i think minnesota may have been a little over-rated this year as they have fallen on hard times. i know they are not the same team on the road as they are at home. badgers very solid on defense and will score enough to cover this one. won't be a blowout, but they win by at least 10. good value laying less than a touchdown at home.
syracuse -4 over pittsburgh (TOP PLAY)..............ok, pitt might not be as bad as i thought, but their 5-2 record is misleading. in my opinion this line should be at least 7. cuse still tough at home, they beat a decent u conn team last week. pitt will find going on the road much different than playing at home vs weak teams. another solid play. almost made this one my best bet of the week. cuse by at least 14.
texas a&m +12 over oklahoma (TOP PLAY).............always scary going against the sooners. i did last week at okla state and it came up and winner, so i will try again. don't worry about a&m's loss to baylor, can't explain that one. the aggies are more this year like aggie teams of the past and playing at home getting almost two touchdowns offers alot of value. don't think it is impossible for the sooners to lose this one. look at last week florida state and miami-florida going down. just might be time for the sooners to lose as well. really like the home dog here.
oklahoma state +13 over texas (REGULAR PLAY).............of course this could be a blowout, my i will take my chances. okie state can beat anyone on a given day, they are a decent team. gave the sooners a battle last week. texas is always good for a game that they screw up. seems like all or nothing for texas over the years. my gut tells me texas does not play as well as they usually do and oklahoma state plays within ten points.
penn state -3.5 over northwestern (REGULAR PLAY).............must be a reason penn state is favored in this one. states D has played pretty well this year. it is their offense that has caused problems. i am not going to read too much into northwesterns upset of purdue last week. this is probably a game to lay off of, but something tells me the linesmakers know what they are doing here making state the fav.
