OPINIONS 4-2

what a horrible start i am off to. i can understand it in the nfl, i suck in the nfl, but college is another story. those that have followed my picks in college (whether football or basketball) know i am better than this. guess i need to start proving it.

this post was going to be just for early looks, but i am going to post my best bet right now in case the lines moves agianst me, and i think it will.

byu +27 over usc (best bet)............i don't care what anybody says, i still think usc is not the great team that they had last year. this line might be right if it were at southern cal, but it is not. byu beat notre dame at home in week one. notre dame beat michigan last week. i know that does not mean or gaurantee very much, but how can you give them almost four touchdowns at home? to me, and i am not off to a good start, is as solid as it gets. i love this game. nothing i would like more than to see byu beat them outright, but i know that won't happen. they will give them all they can handle.

teams i am leaning towards and will probably take............................

w virginia -7 over maryland
kentucky -1.5 over indiana
nc state +3 over ohio state
tcu +7 over texas tech
tennessee -3 over florida
nebraska -4 over pittsburgh
unlv -5.5 over air force
arizona state -1.5 over iowa

this is the week i turn things around..........watch and see. good luck everybody!!

You might want to look at UGA, VPI, and Ole Miss this week. All set up well.

Good luck.

back with my plays for satuday. might add some saturday night, don't know yet.

nebraska -4 over pittsburgh (top play)..............borrowed this write up from somewhere concerning the pitt game last week.

Pittsburgh 24, Ohio 3

Ohio actually outyarded the Panthers 290-217 but Pittsburgh used an interception return for a touchdown and a key blocked punt to set up another score. Penalties were key for the Bobcats as they had a punt return for a touchdown called back that would have cut the Panthers lead to 3 late in the third quarter. Of Pittsburgh?s 17 drives, only 2 lasted more than 5 plays.

i know nebraska might be down this year, but how can they not beat pitt? this is only a fraction of the team pitt had last year. nebraska should win by at least 10 points. almost looks too easy, that is what scrares me, but i will chance it.

kentucky -1 over indiana (top play)..........another borrowed write up about last weeks indiana win over kentucky.

Indiana 30, Oregon 24

The second most deceiving final score showed Oregon with a 495-198 yard advantage as they held Indiana to only 71 yards through the air. 7 turnovers were the obvious difference as the Hoosiers scored their first 20 points off 4 fumbles and added another field goal off a turnover on downs. Their only other score was a kickoff return for a touchdown. The Ducks had 3 chances in the 4th quarter but got nothing after entering the redzone twice.

i have never been impressed with indiana to start with. now they go on the road vs an sec team. can't believe this line only 1. i know it is a rivalry, but i think kentucky beats them bad.

tcu +6 over texas tech (regular play)............i think the wrong team is favored here. playing at texas tech is the only thing is see in favor for them this week. should be an outriight win, but i am not greedy, just give me the cover.

w virginia -6 over maryland (regular play).............lets see what w virginia is made of. the got just about everybody back from last year. maryland lost most of their team. line was at 7 and now down to 6. i guess that is becuase of an injury to a rb. i heard he will try to play. even if he don't, the mountaineers should win by a touchdown anyway.

tennessee -3 over florida (regular play).........most people seem to be on florida in this one. florida not the dominating team they used to be. even in a down year, tennesse is a tough place to win. should be a great one. my gut tells me vols.

opinions.............no writeups or units played.....just for the heck of it.

iowa state -3 over n illinois
nc state -1 over ohio state
colorado state +3.5 over minnesota

good luck everybody!!
