overall (24-26) (-38.30 units)

can it get any worse for me? 0-6 last week. i have never in my life had a year like this in college football and i have been doing this for 26 years. here are the picks that you are going to want to go agianst this week.

BEST BETS

pittsburgh +20.5 vs louisville..............coach dave finally has pitt winning some games and that is only becuase he is finally letting palko throw the ball and that is because they always seem to fall behind in the first half. it took the idiot a few games to realize he has a passing team and he should utilize it. against louisville he will need it. pitt simply plays better when falko is throwing the ball. louisville was supposed to be great this year, but have not lived up to expectations with two losses, they were supposed to be a top 10 or better team. all i keep reading is how louisville is scoring over 60 points a game at home this year, it own't happen tonight. I will admit that of all the big east teams that only louisville would seem right to go to a bcs bowl and that it is hard to believe that pitt, w virginia or rutgers could go. this game is pitts season. they will pull out all the stops and give them a battle tonight. almost three touchdowns is way too many tonight. as much as i would love to see pitt win this game I know that won't happen, but they cover. louisville 37-24.

wisconsin +11 vs penn state..............this is going to be a great game. penn states turnaround has been nothing short of amazing. Now that everybody know just how good this team is, I look for them to struggle in this one. I look for this game to be played rather conservatively on both sides. should be a slugfest with the points coming into play. 11 just too many to give a team like wisconsin.

STRONG PLAYS

rutgers -3 vs s florida............when is that last time that rutgers has even been in consideration for a major bowl? these teams are headed in opposite directions. the only reason i did not make this a best bet is beause it looks so easy for me. rutgers is the better team and they are only laying 3 at home. I will take my chances.

s carolina +4 vs arkansas..........this might be a suckers bet, i don't know. well, i have sucker written across my forehead, i have had it all year long apparently. s carolina the better team and have a ton of confidence after last weeks win vs tennessee. there is a reason arkansas is favored though. something tells me arkansas wins this game by 3.

REGULAR PLAYS

northwestern +2.5 vs iowa..............northwestern a greatly improved team this year. they lost to one of the big tens bigboys. i don't consider iowa to be in the big tens elite teams. northwestern bounces back and wins a shootout.

texas a&m +17 vs texas tech.............this looks to be another shootout. a&m might be better than people think. they can score some points themselves. this game should see plenty of points. texas tech 49-34.

arizona +9.5 vs ucla.............ucla just keeps finding ways to win, and i look for the same again this week. Arizona at home will be loose and let it all hang out to try to pull the upset. i see arizona leading in this one and the bruins finding a way to win again. ucla has a way of winning close games this year, and it will happen again.

missouri +11.5 vs colorado............just a gut feeling here. taking mizzouri's QB and the points.

after going 0-63 last saturday, i don't know what to expect. all i can say is i feel just as confident about these games as i have all year long. i keep waiting for my luck to turn around and it has not.

i can hear college basketballs bouncing. it can't get here soon enough for me. good luck everybody!!

He's saying that he expects a lot of running and big plays being limited. A good share of punts and a field position type of game.

slugfest- a 3 yards and a cloud of dust smackem in the mouth, points tough to come by type of game.

shootout- an air it out, one team can not stop the other, last team to have the ball wins.

what part of the country are you from? :mj07

baseball, slugfest= a lot of runs

football,slugfest= a low scoring game
