How can anyone be on Oregon...especially since it appears that everyone is on the Ducks. :scared

I am looking objectively at the game and it seems that ASU should be favored by at least a TD more like -9.

How much stock are you guys putting in the revenge factor. It is an interesting footnote, but week in and week out there are a dozen teams with a revenge factor...how many actually come through? I look at things like talent in individual units and games played.

Qb - ASU
O-line - Oregon (very close)
TE - ASU ( great double tight set)
D-Line - ASu (stud bookends ...talented in the middle)
LB - ASU
Secondary - ASU
K - Oregon
P - ASu

ASU wins easily...I can't imagine how the ducks will keep up with ASU offensively? They have played Oklahome ( and two other crap teams), while ASU has played and soundly beaten Iowa, Oregon St. NWSRTN, UTEP.

By the way if you are going to bet Oregon solely on the fact that they only lost to Oklahoma by 24 points...I will e-mail you my address and you can send me what you are planning on betting...I have a interesting Real estate deal for you....NICE BRIDGE! :moon:

asu has won 2 road games in the L2 years. and their losses are by an average of 20.7 points. and they should be LAYING "at least a TD, maybe 9"? im not debating the outcome of this game. that remains to be seen. but please dont tell me asu should be laying anything. this personnel is the same as koetter has had the last few years. and he is 4-14 on the road in his tenure at asu. winning SU away from tempe seems like its enough of a challenge

9 seniors starters on Defense and one of top 3 QBS in Pac 10 on ASU....Myers (O-line coach has this o-line keep Walters very clean, able to look downfield unlike last year.

Gman2...follow you week in and week out, but you are crazy if you tell me that you have Oregon laying points....what king of system are you using? :weed:

like i said, im NOT debating the outcome of the game. because i can see reasons for backing asu and i can see reasons for backing oregon. both teams are toward the upper half of the pac10, and that means theyre capable of winning.

but in terms of the line, again i must ask: how can asu possibly lay points when they have no clue how to win on the road. they havent won a pac10 road game since 2000-and-freakin-2. and oregon is a bitch of a place to play. 35-5 L40 is no mistake. they werent even a good team last year and they beat michigan there.

I agree this is a tough stat to overlook, but three key points you must not overlook.

1. ASU had an offensive line that had a combined 4 starts entering last year and no discipline on O-line, one of the most penalized o-lines in the country last year.

2. A senior led Defense can be overwhelming and helps to set a tone for the offense, especially on the road.

3. ASU has beatne Oregon last two years at Home - 2003 and in Oregon 2002. Two convincing wins

This team knows how to play Oregon both away and at home!

Koetter's job is at stake this year and his team is loyal. They are looking to make a statement and with a bye next week, they will not stumble here. Great spot, especially when getting points

ASU - Big

i can respect your points on asu. as ive said before, i always like it when guys can go point and counterpoint on a college game. you know your stuff. you could very well be correct in your game projection. asu certainly is capable of winning outright. my main point was that regardless of what we think we happen or who you or i bet on --- oregon is correctly installed as the favorite.

good lucks Rex & GMan...

By the way Rex...Never bet all of my bankroll (limit is always 5% on any one game), but will have 5% on ASU tonight.

What do you guys think of the MInnesota game....I can't see how Penn. St. can keep up, especially with all three QBs banged up? Any thoughts
