Not a great start to the season, but not all bad. Will post record in a few, but down a little over 4 units. Here are my EARLY thoughts going into next week.
Teams to bounce back - look for these to maybe bounce back
Wake at home vs Stanford - Stanford big road win, now travel cross country
UGA at home vs So Caro - never like playing this one unless UGA is dog or very small home fav
Oregon at home vs Purdue - little scared of this because of suspension, but Oregon is much better than Purdue
WMich at Indy - Indy almost lost to Eastern Kentucky at home and W Mich may win the Mac. Hoping for a close line and will hit WMich
New Mexico vs Tulsa - If Tulsa is favored by 14 or more, will hit this one on the home dog - Tulsa is at Okie the following week
Let Down - these could let down
BYU at Tulane - Tulane is awful, but BYU coming off big win and has Florida St the following week
Navy at home vs La Tech - La Tech is not bad and Navy comes off huge emotional loss and plays Pitt the following week
Minnesota at home vs AFA - will play AFA no matter what, Minny beat bad Cuse team and has Cal coming the following week. - play on AFA for sure
Mizzou at home vs BGr - like this one too, upset vs Illy means little let down at home
Okie St at home vs Houston - Houston may have more offense than Georgia and Okie St off of huge win vs the Dogs
Sandwich games or look ahead
Boise at home vs Miami OH - Boise big win and goes to Fresno the following week. Line would almost have to be 50+ though
FLA vs Troy - Vols the following week
Mich St. at home vs C Mich - Sparty has ND next week?
Starting to look at the lines this afternoon, but will already play Western Michigan big based on the small line and the fact that Spang and BG love it. Those guys will bounce back for sure in the ways of the MAC world.
Others that I will probably hit for sure that are on this list:
Troy
Houston
Bowling Green
La Tech
New Mexico
Also, very important for those that think UT has a look ahead to Florida. Vol world is still very embarrased about the loss to UCLA last year and based on the fact that Orgeron and Kiffin are USC guys, this makes for a great deal of focus on this one. Will look at this line and give thoughts later today.
