USC at Western Michigan

tough place to travel for the Trojans, but the Broncos lose their team leader point guard and power forwards to graduation. Also their head coach is now at USF. USC however, is locked and loaded as most peoples darkhorse in the pac-10 this year. USC has its best team assembled in a long long time and it may be better than the granville/clancy led squad that chocked in the ncaas. USC returns Desmond Farmer, the Craven twins, ROry Oneil actually they return everyone and got a top recruit in teh nation coming in. USC is dangerous play em till they get some respect. USC -1

FSU +12 at UO
While FSU also has a new coach and a new rotation, the Bulldogs are still plenty talented. Oregon lost Luke Ridnour but obviously still have one of the better teams in the pac. Oregon came out sloppy against teams they should have killed last year and kept a lot of them close. I like Fresno to hang in there and give the Ducks a nice big sh$tburger to eat. Play Fresno +12

Cal -15
Cal may run SLO out of the gym and I expect this to happen, take nothing away from the Mustangs but The Golden Bears are smelling sweet 16 this year and if you havent heard of this years freshman Leon Powe, get to know him he is a stud. Cal rolls

Pepperdine -1

This is my favorite play, depite a Dayton finishing ranked last season and returning 4 starters. They do lose their top scorer though and their coach. Pepperdine had a dissapointing season last year in which injuries and academics destroyed their season, everyone thatst important is back and healthy and this is my cinderella to watch this year as they wil return to the big time. THis game is in Malibu and thats the difference. PEPP BIGG

Portland St +17.5

I think PSU really has a shot to hang around with UW and Nate Robinson take over, but its not enough and PSU covers

good to be back playing my favorite sport!!

Ahhhh BG hoops season is finally upon us, and I know it couldn't come any sooner for ASU after this year's horrible football preformance, not that UofA was any better.

Like USC alot tonite as well, however seems like the boards on WMU, so I'll shy away from it. My only two plays tonite are Fairfield -6.5 (superbooks reco) and Witchita St -1.5. WSU came on real strong last year in the MVC and Lasalle was an underachieveing/young A-10 team all year. I know you know the MVC like the back of your hand so i'd like some input here. I've heard that WSU could make some noise this year. Thoughts?
