sun i agree most of time in cfb teasers, but dont see Hokies losing ... and along those lines, Gman2, Dux are not that good, and weather should be fine next saturday ... will be very surprised if Dux stay within 13 of USC ... This isnt the dux of 3 years ago and past .... this is ordinary team IMO ... usc is track meet cubed and prob will score 45/dux might get 24--i just like some wiggle room :)

I respect both you guys a ton and thanx for your input :) ... And U well could be right and this go down in flames ...

take care

College football teasers are a recipe for empty walletitis

I agree mostly. eventhough i am 3-1 on college teasers. I have however found that teasers work really good in the NFL, more so during the playoffs. Gave my friends the advice of teasing the past superbowl. no matter what way the went, they all won!!

NC State (-9.5) vs. UNC.

UNC couldn't rush against Wisconsin and they won't be able to rush against NC State's front 7.

24-10 state

Plus UNC's QB got beat up pretty badly last week. NC State will be coming after him all day long

Zona st. -5.5

OSU got shredded through the air by Louisville last week, giving up 368 yards and 5TD's on only 18 completions! Those are major secondary problems, and if Arizona State can do anything, they can pass.

NMSU backdoor covererd on Sat and is now 1-2 ATS. They have the 89th ranked defense and host Cal -30. I haven't seen the bears play, but NMSU kept the UNM game respectable thanks to Lobo penaltys. CU didn't let NMSU sniff the endzone and I would think Cal's defense can do the same. Cal 49-10.

tease nc state in 7 pt tease with any of your best plays and you should be fine. they will win by at least a field goal. duke cannot play uva to within 3 td's. they could lose 52-7

I agree with everything you said except the outcome. I think Cal is grossly overated, but the history of running it up will play true on this one I think. New Mexico State is a REALLY BADD TEAM. Our high school team in B'ham, Hoover High could probably beat them pretty soundly, but hen again they are the # 2 team in the country Super 25. Cal May hit the mid 60's in this one.

Am wondering why Colorado State is laying 16+pts to anybody. They continue to be a turnover prone ball club. I would think CSU is a shade above UNVL and Nevada took care of the Rebs easily.

Oregon might be my biggest play in a LONG LONG time...I absolutley love 3 TD's with future NFL stars like Whitehead and Clemens on our side...plus a First team All America DT and a MONSTER home team advantage in Eugene...

Mich ST @ ILL

ILL is 16-9 ATS on grass since 97

I very well might be wrong but isn't Illinois a turf field? Ad if so they are 37-64 on the fake stuff since 1992. I didn't really research this, but I think I am right enough to ask for someone who knows for a fact to enlighten me.

Also, in really looking at this game, here are some injuries to speak of:

ILLINOIS
LB Anthony Thornhill Ankle Questionable Sat. vs Michigan State. 9/19
CB Justin Harrison Hip Questionable Sat. vs Michigan State. 9/19
OL Jim LaBonte Back Questionable Sat. vs Michigan State. 9/19
CB Sharriff Abdullah Suspension Out indefinitely. 9/5

MICHIGAN ST
DT Brandon McKinney Ankle Doubtful Sat. vs Illinois. 9/19

I know that a bunch of people are on the fact of Mich St.'s trend to blow it after big wins, but I don't see it this year. I capped this game at 38-17. And 10 point difference is good enough for me to want to load up on it.

I've been pretty good at the big ten this year. Haven't been wrong yet. I know I don't post my records, but you can check my threads, and I have been dead on so far.

Does any body have any solid facts, not trends, that would sway me please?

If you give Rutgers the 4 field goals they missed they beat Illinois by a touchdown +. Michigan State doesn't kick field goals (2 all year, made 21, missed 54). I don't see this one ever close.

C'mon all you greater than I cappers, change my mind.
