Cal beat no winning teams last season.

16-51:Combined record of Div1A teams they defeated last year.

Cal has good RBs and WRs, but QB Longshore lacks game experience. OL is a question mark, especially the right side.

Vols lost several starters at LB and DL, but there is plenty of talent stepping in, and the DL gets the addition of '03 starter Mapu. Cutcliffe will help improve the O.

If you analize who Tenn beat, other than the fluke against Lsu : {uab,ken,memphis and miss.} The numbers are pathetic. Tenn won against teams that beat : troy,jack st,rice,memp,utep,idaho st,miss st, vandy(a team that beat tenn) chatt, hou, e car, akron, marshall,citadel.

Nice call yesterday, I was out in left field. Is Tenn that good or is Cal that bad ? We'll see. My play was more of a play against Tenn, than a vote for Cal, but the Vols put it together for game one. What happened to all that southern hospitality ? You din't treat them boys from out west very nice. What did you feed and water them boys with ?
