Penn State does have the opportunity to name their score, but it won?t be easy going back on the road after an emotional win over Ohio State and an emotional loss to Michigan. Illinois has to go on the recruiting trail and is desperate for something positive to happen this season. They?ve got a ranked opponent coming into their house for a nationally televised game on homecoming and they?ve had two weeks to prepare. It has to be now for them

Ilinois +18.5 (-108) 1 unit
Ilinois +10 (-105) fh 1 unit

Ferentz is a ridiculous 22-5 ATS as a home favorite over his tenure and it?s because while Madison, Ann Arbor and Columbus get all the hype, Iowa City is the best college atmosphere in the Big 10. Iowa?s defense isn?t all that powerful and will have their hands full with Michigan, but watching the Wolverine defense try and defend Michael Robinson when he was out of the pocket last week makes me think Drew Tate?s going to have a field day. Both offenses will have success, but you can never expect Michigan?s play calling to be solid for 60 minutes. Huge edge to Iowa in the kicking department which is monumental if this turns out to be a field goal game.

Iowa -2.5(-110) 1 unit
Iowa -3 (-108) 1 unit
Over 51.5 (-108) 1 unit

Nice to see a WAC game in the Big 10. Michigan State and NW both don?t care much for pass defense or tackling or rushing the passer, but both can light it up. I think that Northwestern should be able to hang with them all day, but with a 13 point spread, I won?t be worried if they?re down 17 trying to cover against a prevent defense.

Northwestern +13 2 units

Success has never fit Wannstedt very well and now he has another opportunity to try and run in an offense not built for it.

Syracuse +13 1 unit

Three big turnovers in the red zone has given NW this halftime lead. Wildcat defense always accomodating to the comeback. Unless Stanton has become friendly with Smoker's cocaine dealer/bookie (which isn't that big of a stretch based on the miscues in the first half), this one should cash.

Michigan State -8 (-120) 2h
