Will update record in a bit . . .it way even be plus units :scared

There?s so much that I?m going to learn about ND in the first quarter that it?s tough for me to get a read on this game. All of the recruits over the past 2-3 years all seem to be playing well except for DBs (who?ve played well in the past) and the Dline (who never were all that regarded to begin with), but ND hasn?t been able to put anybody away when they?ve had the chance in all of their games.

I wrote in the Michigan write up that the Wolverines were a year away from doing the little things to get wins, but it?s really been the Irish. 5 FGs last time out, missing any killer instinct in the 3rd qtr at Ann Arbor and West Lafayette or in the 2nd quarter at MSU.

This game will come down to the line play and I think that we?ll know the result right away. I?ll be on SC for the first half and on ND moneyline for the game. I won?t win both but I don?t think it?s possible to lose both. Go Irish! Beat SC!

Illinois just hasn?t matched up with anyone so far this year and although the team is in some turmoil, there is a talent advantage this week. As much as Zook is panned, his players love playing for him and I just have a feeling that they show up Saturday. Got in early on this one and got a shit line

Illinois -3

Nobody in the Big 10 has been more prone to making mistakes that Purdue and no one is going to generate them more than the Buckeye defense. Still hate the Purdue run D and OSU would love nothing more than to keep running and won?t get ?distracted? with a passing game. 1st year uptick for Purdue is now over and I?m expecting the kids to start to quit especially if it gets out of hand early

Ohio State -13

Iowa?s gotten a lot of recognition for beating a Penn State team that was over rated from the get go and they?ve also really benefitted from some unforced errors this season. Stanzi looks like he could make a boneheaded decision on any play. While you can predict turnovers to some extent, normally their just happenstance and without the turnover assistance, I don?t this Iowa keeps this close and Wisky doesn?t have to pass as much because I?ve been very impresses with the Badger line (which I thought would be horrid). Iowa?s a good team, but it would be a special year if they could go into Madison and take this one

Wisconsin -2.5

Also. . .

NWestern +13
Minny +16.5

you too MC.

Ignore the plays above on ND. Hate the bet now. It think the Irish will be only moderately successful on offense. Tate was a great receiver last year and he still was a no show at USC. They'll be able to move the ball, but not like the rest of the year.

I also think USC will have a lot success on the ground, but no matter what Carroll says they won't be opening the playbook. ND's defense will bend, but will come up with some big stops. USC will try and be methodical and should be successful with a 7-14 point victory

ND/USC Under 50.5
