Will update record later - after over 100 plays I think I'm up 1/100th of a unit :em71:

Just looking for a letdown from the Hokies

GaTech -2.5

Also on,

ND -3.5
Indiana -6.5
Ohio State -15.5
Oklahoma -20

and will have a liitle bit of reasoning later.

Good luck!

I've actually got every single one of the excuses memorized for this Notre Dame season. What bugs me is when you read one of those "Ty's record is the same as Charlie's" articles they point to the fact that Weis has better recruiting classes than Ty, they mention Ty had the 20th something and 40th something recruiting class in his final two years. Certainly those types of classes have never been seen at ND, but they were even worse than the ranking showed because they had 3 Olinemen get recruited in 3 years. Everybody on the line was frosh or a soph this year except their center who hasn't exactly excelled in the leadership role this year. And the bottom line is that Weis is much too worried about scheme than fundamentals and their line wasn't developed for the opener.

This will be the first game of the year that ND has an edge in the Oline/Dline matchup and their offense will look nothing like the overmatched unit that it has in EVERY game this year. They play a Navy defense that was young and inexperienced with 3 returning starters and lost their MidLinebacker RS and a Senior safety against Rutgers. And what was a weakness going into this season became a glaring weakness.

Add in the fact that the Irish got a chance to rest and re-establish some goals for the year in the Bye week and had an extra week to prepare for the option, I like the Irish. A lot.

Notre Dame -3.5 1 unit
Notre Dame -2 1 Half 1/2 unit
Notre Dame -1/2 (+105) 1Qtr 1/2 unit

Play 13 has been the motto all year for Indiana and this is their best shot at getting bowl eligible. Hopefully, there's a spot in the bowls open for them.

Indiana -6.5

All of OSU's question marks on the defense this year were on the Dline and as a unit, they've played as well as any on the defensive side. When the Badgers have faced stout defenses in the Beilema era, they've not been successful enough to put more than double digits on the board and that's even a tall order today.

Ohio State -15.5

It's the style points time of the year and Oklahoma needs them against a team that has looked dominated by some mid-level teams

Oklahoma -20

I've got a buddy who's a Big XII insider and he stated earlier this week, and I quote, " NU?s backup Ganz doesn?t warrant the line jump that has happened since it was announced Keller won?t play. Public play may push the line even higher by a point or so. There is sentiment that the other players have preferred Ganz all along. I wouldn?t be surprised to see the Offense be more proficient this week, even against a stingy KU D. KU will win, but I would expect a 10-14 pt. win, not around 20. "

Good enough for me. Thanks Tim

Nebraska +20

25+ winds and some rain for two night games. Line's have moved down this week, but still like these.

Rutgers/UConn Under 42.5
BC/FSU Under 41
1/2 unit each

Troy head coach Larry Blakeney told Georgia media during Friday?s walk-through that quarterback Omar Haugabook (hamstring) will try to play today...will know more during warm-ups...

Wide receivers Gerald Tate (knee) and Austin Silvoy (knee) as well as cornerback Trevor Ford (knee) are questionable. Defensive end Brandon Lang (knee) is out.

Thanks, IE, but Scott's always welcome in my threads even if he's rude.

But, if you wanted to ban him for the rest of the football season, I wouldn't mind either.
