ND looked ridiculous on offense on Saturday, but the more that I've seen, it really comes down to their offensive line play. When they were able to get locked up, they were fine, but they couldn't handle the stunts and then when the blitzed were thrown in, they're QBs were sacked 9 times and hurried just about every time.

Now, while every talking head has stated that they're going to see this same type of defensive scheme until they prove they can stop it, I don't think that's the case this weekend. The same tape was out last year from the GaTech game. Blitz Quinn and bring people from everywhere to confuse him was the credo. ND got some yards against GT last year but they fell apart inside the 40 by taking a sack or not converting due to pressure and hurries and they only got 14 points. The next week against PSU, DC Bradley dropped 7 in coverage almost exclusively and got picked apart by Quinn. Obviously, Bradley will have a different approach against Clausen than he did against Quinn, but blitzing not in his nature and ND won't see as many blitzes as last week.

I also think that the Oline is something that can be fixed with some coaching this week. They're whole line is loaded with talent, but not experienced talent and I don't think that they expected the onslaught last week (most likely due to practicing against their weak Dline), but they should be able to correct it as there will be less exotic blitz packages this week than last.

The ND defense is going to be bad, but I did like their red zone play last week until things got out of hand.

Really think this line is an overreaction

Tigers D looked pretty nasty Saturday Night against a solid KState and the Frosh linemen protecting Cox's backside seemed to need some improvement and Auburn's set up to play things close to their chest with a solid D and simple offensive gameplan.

SFla is in the same boat as they've fought injuries all preseason and lost their C for Saturday's game. Also, in the game notes in a 28-13 struggle with Elon

"Starting C Nick Capogna did not play in the second half after spraining his knee in the first half. Also, starting LT Marc Dile (leg cramps) and senior RT Walter Walker (ankle) were in and out of the game with injury problems. In addition, five Bulls on the two-deep did not dress against Elon: RB Moise Plancher (ankle), C Sampson Genus (ankle), LG Matt Huners (knee), LB Chris Robinson (ankle) and CB Tyller Roberts (hamstring). "

39 is a low total for a college game, but seems justified here

Cincy's new coach has talked about building the interest in this program from the day that he took the job and they've got a chance to make some positive headway by hosting a Pac 10 team in a televised Thursday Night game.

Bearcats are 29-12 (22-16 ATS) at home over the past 7 years and 9-5 ATS as a dog (including a 30-11 win over an undefeated Rutgers team last year)

USF under is looking nice at this point. Two teams with questionable OL imo.

ND or nothing for me vs. Penn St. PSU not as good as LW score might indicate.

CIn looks strong as well.

GL on these:weed:

Cincy doesn't look like they've got their Offensive scheme down yet. Feel pretty lucky to have a chance to get out of this play.

OSU -3 (-105) 2nd half

Thanks for noticing how much of a "mush" he is to me. 3-0 before Scott posts and then he posts and Cincy's recovering fumbles on OSU's 4-yard line.

He did the same thing last week. I'd be 90% if Scott wasn't posting

Rutgers is a legit BCS program and has solid lines on both sides of the ball which is the key to beating any of the service academies.

Hey Bobby - word is if someone can mush you that easy then you probably are not going to win any contests in 2007.

I guess its worth a try though.

Listen I got a friend coming over to give you a important message. Hope it helps

Thanks and good luck with your plays

I am not adverse to contests, I have been seriously thinking about smurph, Kramers, and HH contest.

I think I could kick some asses in there.

good luck !
