I lied....

St. Francis-NY +6 over Fairleigh Dickinson--Two fairly even teams, I'll take the six points.

Seton Hall -8.5 over S. Florida--Might be too much chalk for a low scoring game, but S. Florida is bad.

You might want to take a closer look at Fairleigh Dickinson's Q factor.

If you listen to Bud Shaw, the Cavs may never win another game but I would bet they make the playoffs. Unfortunately, Hughes injury may cause them to be a #7 or #8 seed which means an early exit. Even though they haven't won on the west coast trip, it appears they are starting to play better defense. I'm patient enough to wait on them since baseball is just around the corner and I've got my bleacher seats ready to go.

Carl,
I wasn't able to calculate their q factor since my spreadsheet got deleted. I could have gotten them at 6.5 but I waited till it dropped to 6 because that showed me Vegas knew something.

Saturday Picks

Saturday Picks

Michigan PK over Minnesota--Wolverines have turned into a pretty solid team. They play hard and guard people.

Ohio St. -8 over Penn St.--Ohio St. is another solid team. This should be close for a half but the Buckeyes should pull away in the second half.

Yale -3.5 over Brown--Probably a sucker bet since Yale just smoked Brown last week at home. But Brown lost too much to graduation and hasn't recovered.

EMU +18 over Akron--Eagles have hung around in almost every game thanks to Bowler. He won't be enough to get the win but will be able to control the middle and keep things within 18.

Wright St. +11.5 over UWM--Another team that seems to keep things close. UWM may not have the spark for this one after the struggle against UD.

Ohio -1 over Toledo--Have to continue to fade the Rockets and Joplin. Ohio has not yet stepped up their level of play as expected but this may be the breakout game.

BGSU +7.5 over Ball St.--Testicle Tech really shouldn't be laying this many points to anyone let alone a BG team that has been pretty solid over the last month except for the trip to Western.

Agree that the 18' is mighty steep at the Jar, What is left of the profits I earned in through the first week of January (and its not much) rides on Northern Illinois Saturday.

Good luck

I played four of your first seven (UM, Yale, OU, & BG) right away last night at 6:00 when they first came out. They really jumped out, so I would guess we are both most likely screwed for the day.
