Really like Kansas st at home this week, hopefully Vegas will give me a decent number to work with...

Good luck. Was thinking about this one as well. Not going to make any weekend plays right away though. Will see how I do Tues-Thur first. Yesterday was bad for me. Need to reign myself in some and really study the games more.

Kinda sketchy about K-State right now... Nebraska rushing attack is 4th while K-State's rushing D is 102nd :scared

I do like the fact that K-State will be amped up for this game and the home crowd will be loud... But can they stop the Husker rush?

This line is way off....

4* KANSAS ST +12

If I may be so bold, I would like to give my 2 cents on NU v KSU:

Let me preface everything by saying I have lived in Omaha, Ne since I was born. I am on Nebraska big time here. It may be a homer play but nevertheless:

KState has one helluva running back. He will be the focal point of this NU defense. He will be shut down. Give Pelini and his bro Carl 10 days to get ready for anyone, and more times than not, their defense will dictate the day. That forces KSt to depend on a pocket passer. Nebraska's defensive packages will be tougher and faster than anything he has seen.

On offense, Nebraska has the nation's best kept secret in RS freshman QB Taylor Martinez. His passing has room for improvement but he has tremendous arm strength. His bread and butter is when he's forced out of the pocket and makes plays with his feet. Obviously, Bill Snyder and staff will aim to coral him. NU has two stud RBs that compliment each other well.

Finally, and maybe my biggest reason for loving NU on Thurs night: Pelini has a strong distaste for Snyder and if has the chance to bury him on his home turf, he will do it. Pelini, while an asst coach w/ NU a few years back, took great offense to Snyder "running up the score". Paybacks are a bitch.

Sorry this is in your thread LDB, but I noticed some chatter about the game so I thought I'd drop in......

like the K St play a lot, i see Nebraska playing a smashmouth running game , ending in a close game (maybe 3 to 7)

on the other end of UAB/CFU ...anyway BOL:toast:
