Thanks B

Still looking closely at these:

Vandy +4.5
EMU +22
Arky +8
CMU +10
Zona St +5.5
NCSU +8
FIU +26.5
VT -1.5 would be my first fav played this season as far I can recall

Looking into LSU @ Auburn. I have a hard time seeing the LSU QBs playing very well in their 1st ever road game. Despite the strong LSU OL and defense, both of which I rate as best in SEC, I am leaning heavily to Auburn early.

Cie,

Excellent work on another winning week!

Thoughts on your above leans and such: Not surprised to see you cut GT off the list when it came out as -7. I like this team as a dog and not a TD fav vs an SEC team.

I kinda like the Tar Heels. We'll have to discuss this one. I think UNC is better than VT right now. I'd love to hear your take on it as its so early in the week I am still open to anything.

I will play any SEC dog, especially if it has your stamp of approval. Should be another crazy year in the league.

It will be hard for me not to take the home team to win in that Auburn-LSU game. Its the main reason I think Auburn will win the division and I can see myself putting my money where my mouth is. Better LSU teams with more seasoned QBs have gone onto the Plains and generated zero offense so this will be hard for Hatch to overcome. We could see a repeat of the 10-9 or 7-3 classics from the last two games in the series played in Auburn. Cant wait to hear you break this one down further.

Fla @ Ten

Fla @ Ten

I'm going to likely play Vols this weekend. I see a bit too much overreaction to the Vols loss across the country in week 1. Florida is an overrated team imo. Fla is not USC east, I can promise you that. I do not like Florida this week for several reasons. It's the road opener and the first test for a defense which is still quite young. If the LB Doe plays injured, this will provide further defensive weakness. The Miami win was impressive on paper in that 140 yards were allowed by this D, but I do not buy into Miami's offense. In fact, I layed 23 with the Gators as my only fav play this season primarlily because of Miami's offensive weakness. I have little faith in the Gator running attack. My best guess is Tennessee has the better chance of establishing a ground game in this matchup.

I am looking at a tight game as long as Crompton limits mistakes. Of course, I played Ohio St last week, so what do I know:shrug:

Aub would normally be a play for me in this spot with Hatch as a 1st time road starter, but I am holding off due to lack of faith in in the Auburn trigger man. If LSU OL is as strong as I think it is, then they will have the better shot of establishing a ground game. This is particulary the case with Aub's top runner out and LSU's stable of backs in top form.

Of course, I would not entertain thoughts of laying points in this spot, so Aub or nothing for me. Right now it's nothing, but things can change rather quickly. GL:weed:

GL this week Cie... At first I said Gators all the way but the more I think about this game the more I shy away from the gators... Here's why

1. Big rivalry game
2. First real test for the Gators
3. First road test for the Gators
4. Vols have a very good secondary and D

I also saw an interesting stat a couple of days ago. Urban Meyer's teams dont do very well coming off a bye week.

If Foster can run the ball for the Vols, Crompton will do fine

Our thoughts are similar on the Vols. I just can't squeeze the trigger on CMU this week. I just don't trust their defense to hold em to under 50. Could well be a repeat of the bowl match up last year and should be an enjoyable game to watch.

I also want to add a remark about your EMU play. I was thinking EMU may well be on the right track after their loss at MSU. That score was misleading and really overall they did not play badly. The big egg they laid vs.Toledo had me sctatching my head rethinking my original thoughts. That said, it would eithe be EMU or nothing tomorrow, it is a very generous spread. Good luck

Cie, I am a gluton for punishment. I can't leave
totals alone, like I should. The one I love this
week is LSU/Auburn under. Give me your
thoughts. Good luck TW :drinky: :weed:
