Iowa is in a spot where I would normally play them....but man they are bad. I dont think I can pull that trigger.

Thx. As for Kentucky, I see this as an easy spot for LSU to underachieve. Problem is, LSU has been able to run at will vs. much stiffer defenses. Small play for me for this reason.

I don't think it makes any difference where the game is played Cie...Woodson can't scramble like Tebow...game should play out much like Ky/USC...except worse...I always used to make that game as a kid when back home...mainly because Keeneland was running at the same time and Dad loved to go to the track. So I've got fond but usually sad memories of the game anyway. Never forget one of the games...pre-Commonwealth statidum...Can still remember a DB for LSU by the name of White Graves taking an interception back all the way to ice the game and break my young heart.

Agreed, the Hawkeyes are a horrible, horrible football team. But I have yet to be right on them this season as it pertains to handicapping, so I am no longer offering any kind of opinion on whether or not they can or cannot cover a pointspread...:D

On the other side of the UK play this week as you, Cie.

LSU -9
South Carolina -6' (major let down set up for the Tarheels)
Georgia -7
Illinois -3' (I think the Illini is better than people give them credit for this year)

Tempting:
Notre Dame +14' (might have to be the second week in a row for backing them for the golden chalice)
Miami, FL -3
Washington +11
Mid Tenn St +4
Miss St. +7' (Georgia made UT look way too good this past week) :(

I've cashed w/ Ill nicely the past month. Their offense is tough to handle. I like them to let down this week off of their recent succcess, especially with Mich coming to town next weekend.

As for LSU, this their 1st true road game Miss St in week 1. They are revenge-minded against Auburn next week. Throw in the plethora of injuries, and any type of sloppy play will cost them the cover, if not the game, imo. Thanks and GL...

I am in the ballpark of my goal for the season ($4K), and with lines tightening up, my plays will mostly be small the rest of the way.

Fortunately, my style of "capping" does not eat up too much time because I am extremely busy these days. Still, I won't be around nearly as much as I have been. GL out there...

I agree on L'ville, but I lean toward LSU; however, I will defer to your play and probably pass even though it's tempting.

Leans also to So. Car, Ga and Ill - like dawgball, so that may be a bad thing. LOL :com:

Like Sun, I couldn't touch Iowa this week, but it is a nice spot for them.

Other side of Miss St, as I think that 1.) number will be less that a TD and 2.) Vols have a good reason to play better with Florida losing. (But I'm a homer, so take it FWIW.)

Take a look at Penn St -6' (I played it tonight.) ;)

Other leans early: Arky St -8; Alab -6' and UL Monroe -7

Other leans late: Purdue + and Minny + :scared

I like to play the favs early and play the doggies later. Nice season you're having and BOL this week!!! :)

Thx men, I added these favs:

SC -6 [-115] x1
Neb -4 [-105] x1.5

Not sure what's wrong w/ me, but looks like 3 favs this week, and only 1 (Arky) is a system play:scared

SC catches UNC at a good time in the midst of a run of important games including Miami--who Butch Davis prepped extra for according to our friend, AR182.

Neb better be pissed about last weeks loss, plus they are playing w/ revenge this week. Tough spot for Okie St to travel to Lincoln after giving up the win last week despite grabbing a big lead early. Okie St sucks defensively, especially on the road where thay cant tackle. I like the chances of Nebraska outscoring the Pokes by throwing vs. their porous secondary. I like neb by 2 Tds.

GL C!! With ya KY!! Sounds nuts, but I think they could win this outright!! They just need to come up with a gameplan to protect their QB and not make too many mistakes and they gotta chance here....

Thx all

I pressed my Louisville to x2 and added WF+6 [-115] x1.

Auburn may be healthier than I thought for this game, but I am sticking w/ Arky.

I heard Early Doucet may play some for LSU. I bet he plays sparingly if he does get in. Damn, have they missed that guy.

So Cal
I like the Louisville play.
Do they expect to have Douglas and Urrutia back?

I played them LW Vs Utah. I didn't know Cards would be w/o both star WR's. really sux.
They have a awesome Off. when they are healthy. I llike the TE Barnidge. he is a great weapon.

Def can't stop anyone... That is a concern for me.

Best of luck this week.
