Last week 4-4
Season 25-24-2

Play tracker:
Cin +6.5 (BYU) L

W. Va +21.5 (Baylor) L
I'll take 3td's plus the hook, Baylor has beaten TxTech but now off two road games and a blowout vs lowly KS, this should show to be a step up in class.

Lou +7 (FSU) L
Louie off a bye and they have a decent defense, fsu off rival win over mia.

Minn -2 (Neb) L
Minnie can be painful to watch but Neb is painful to watch, Leidner should be able to throw some against soft Neb secondary, at home. Yikes i said Leidner should be able to throw...

Was -2 (Ore) L
Fav is 11-0-1 ATS in their last 12 meetings, Ore is 10-0-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings and now Wash is a small fav. Changing of the guard in Wash, this is about as good a chance as they have had in about a decade.

Bama/TAM O53 W
A little help from WildBill and Hawkeye on this one:0008

Mich St. +8.5 (Mich) W

Utah St +8 (Boise) W

LaTech +13.5 (Miss St.) L

Bama -3.5 (TAM) W

USC +5 (ND) L

Ok -4 (Ka St.) W

Az St. +4.5 (Utah) L
*disaster 5-8 for the week

Cincy off a bye so the road shouldn't be as weary. I like the Bearcat offense here vs a struggling BYU defense that gave up over 500 yds vs ECU. Kiel could play but Tuberville says it's a game time decision, the redshirt backup has put up some numbers and they are getting a RB and WR back from injury as well.

Mangum hurt his hammy and will not be able to practice that much leading up to Fridays game so that also favors Cincy. He will be less mobile and these injuries are going to catch up with one less day to prepare.

Leans:
La Tech +13.5 (Miss St.)
Ok -4.5 (Ka St.)
Bama -4 (TAM)
shit is LSU gonna run over FL, it's up to -9.5 now, Grier out is old news so big money on LSU?
Az St. +6.5/7 (Utes)

I thought the WVU D was decent until the OU game. Baylors offense is light years better than OUs. I just can't see WVU keeping them under 50. IMO Baylor is a good bet each and every week this year. I say that because they're offense is unstoppable and the loss last year in a game they didn't show up for has to be in their minds each week.

Layinwood, you may be right, they have video game numbers but it's also true they have only played one decent team in Tech who is weak on D. Turnovers have been the issue for WestVa, that and penalties. If they can play a clean game it should stay within the number. Baylor isn't exactly the smartest team and has committed a ton of penalties.
The Bears will not over look this one like you said so it could be a bad spot to go against them. If they continue this run a better spot might be at Ok St. a possible sandwich game between Ok and TCU.
Appreciate the input I know you keep up with the big12, GL

It will be interesting to watch for sure. I don't know how many people across the country have watched Baylor's QB but if they haven't then they don't know how special the kid is going to be. He's a really good passing QB but what will surprise people is his speed and running ability. I thought Baylor might struggle without Petty but after watching Russell I now think they're better off.

And that's saying something because Petty was great. Griffin, Petty, now Russell, the OC/QB coach must know his stuff.

Yeah, look at Briles last 4 QBs.

Keenum(U of H)
and then the 3 you mentioned.

I'm not sure any coach is a better QB coach for college QBs than Briles is.

cincy what a terrible game, as i write this about 5 mi to go, sacked 8 times  5 interference calls, 4 of them when byu had no chance in hell of completing the pass. Just a vintage tubberville team performance, f'ing Mangum was on one leg and schooled them to a fare-thee-well, i don't know that they pressured him once. The guy can't run and you have no game plan to get to him. Shit's aggravating to watch.
BYU is good, well coached team.

Bama -3.5 (TAM)

USC +5 (ND)

Ok -4 (Ka St.)
