ND-Bama...

So much said already on this game...
ND just beat Purdue with about 8 minutes on the clock 17-14.Stanford really beat them on that last play.I was at the BYU game and BYU should of won...17-14..Pitt who lost to SEC Ole Miss almost beat ND but lost in 3 ot's...ND offense scored only 1 td vs USC....
Bama had a tough time with LSU and Georgia but think both of those teams are a lot better then Purdue,BYU and Pitt...Bama lost to Johnny Football and ..enough said......
Bama Ol vs ND def...Teo-vs AJ...etc...so much already talked about it on TV,radio and here in cyber space...
Think its a close game for awhile and then Bama pulls away...a little quicker and a little more athletic...as good as the ND front 7 D is getting hit with Lacey and Yeldon all the time will ware you down...then some play action by AJ....Kelley knows this and I'm sure has worked on stopping it but don't think his players can.....

Rumor is Pope Benedict has called Kelly via the phone but Kelly couldn't understand German....all the parishes in NY yesterday said a pray for ND..that is the only thing that worries me..but Teo is a Morman so that makes me feel better..

Thank you guys....ND was really lucky this yr going undefeated...I wish Oregon was playing last nite. But as quick as the Ducks were who is going to stop Lacey and co...think Ducks would of scored a few Td's but would still lose..Bama LB's and DB's don't miss any tackles..they just lock you down and wait for help....ND was pretty lucky just beating Purdue,BYU Pitt and really lost to Stanford..but you can't blame them...I think the " Lord" was on their side up to a point. Being catholic I think I can say this.
I took 3 teams into the NY State Basketball finals and getting there I believe St Anthony,St Peter{ not sure who the patron saint of hoops is} or someone up there helped my boys. I always joked about this. We were never in the top 20 in our classification in those 3 yrs...We always drew the top seed 1st in our region.We always upset the No 1 team or the favorite but still lost the final game. I always used to say that the final game God would say " your on your own".The lord can only lead you so far. Moses spent all that time in the desert and God didn't let him enjoy the " milk and honey". He let him see it for a second....think they did the same thing to me and Coach Kelley.
I'm sure my team shooting 63% from the FT line had nothing to do with that.
Of course none of us will never know if St Anthony helped me win my 200th game on a last second play...or knock off all those teams that were really better then mine but we were more prepared....luck,karma or someone above....who knows but there is nothing wrong in believing....

Had a great time in college football...getting ready for Sept.. Will miss you all here...
