Those facts don't support you... If USC didn't have Reggie Bush ND would have beat that team by 2-3 TDS. He was the only person who made a difference in that game.

and this thread is about the ND/TENN game, if you wanna talk Southern Cal, start your own thread and talk about it there. I dont think holding calls and blocks in the back have ANYTHING to do with who covers this saturday.
I mentioned the USC game to qualify the strength of ND this year, thats it. Get a Career

I didnt tell anyone to take ND buddy, READ the whole post before you SHOOT off your mouth
Below is EXACTLY what my first post said, copy and pasted

:mj07:

I did not take your quote out of context. I said I did not want "anyone" to take ND over TN because YOU said ND outplayed USC. I never said or implied that YOU felt ND would or wouldn't cover the spread.

Case closed and we can leave it at that!

Derek - Don't listen to him he watches USC games with a Patch on his eye. That team would be a 2-3 three loss team without bush. He turns every thread into a USC conversation and blames everything on the refs if it isn't going USC way.

You did take it out of context. I am an ND alum, and have a pure interest in who wins this Itweekend. You read my post and took my comment about the USC game out of context, and saw an opportunity as a USC supporter to make a point about that game. Taken out of context, by definition, means using someone's statements to prove a point unrelated to the general topic where the statements were first made. You saw an opportunity to take a shot, and it has no place or right in this thread. Period.

Then you tried to defend yourself by saying that you 'were looking out for innocent people who might take ND over tennesee" because of my statements, EVEN THOUGH I EXPLICITLY STATED THAT I DOUBTED ND WOULD COVER. Go away, seriously.

Put me on ignore list and I go away forever. You will never see another post of mine again! Problem solved. Stop complaining and do it.

If you say ND outplayed USC, and someone takes your word for it, then that is a logical reason to play ND over TN @ND. I don't see how you can argue that. I can show you many examples here at MJ's where someone states team A outplayed this team and someone else posts saying they disagree. Happens all the time here at MJ's. So I did nothing wrong or out of the ordinary. Hopefully this is the last time I hear you complain about me. PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR IGNORE LIST!

maybe a logical reason for you to take ND? Who made you judge, jury and defender of the innocent to the point where you feel the need to defend what they read and the decisions they make?? You obviously dont have much confidence in USC's victory over ND or you wouldnt have brought it up. Why argue about a game that your team won? Insecurity, doubt are some reasons I guess.

You took my statements out of context, and this is not the forum for a ND USC debate, which you have tried to make it into. I didnt even know there was an ignore list, because my maturity and intelligence is above a third grade level.

every statement has a qualitative value. Read my entire post and you will see that my comment about the USC/ND game was in no way intended to PROMOTE ND covering this weekend. You have a BIAS towards a certain program(USC) and saw an opportunity to prove a point about USC on this thread. Read the title, reread my post. This is not the place for that. Thats why me and diapers are jumping all over you. Leave your personal biases aside and evaluate the ND TENN game on Saturday.

I did go to ND, and I spent 5 years in South Bend and I bleed Irish green pal. Do you see me going iinto threads that discuss USC games ranting and raving about how ND played them? No, because it has no place or value there, and would only be construed as argumentative and OFF TOPIC. Just because you bought a USC hat at a strip mall in Montreal, you think you have a right to start a debate about a game that happened a month ago, because somebody made a statement about your team?? You are a fraud, plain and simple.

I havent been on this forum that long, but it seems obvious he drags his USC bias into conversations where it has no place. The point of my post was that this weekend's game features tw GREAT teams that have played in great games against great opponents this season. He took saw an opportunity to begin an ND/USC debate was immature enough to do so. Now that I know he's a constant baby and a constant problem, I'll just ignore him I guess. Every forum has its 2 year olds

What a tough game to figure. But this game is what college football is all about. Tennessee is a little worse than expected and Notre Dame is a lot better than expected me think. But don't underestimate the Vols...they thrive in this type of situation. But yet, Notre Dame played, or appeared to play a 'semi-pro' USC team to the wire? Tennessee lost last time out...and they are always dangerous after a loss and especially on the road...that's the only place you will ever get any value on them as with other teams like them. Tennessee's defense is as good or better as usual but the offense leaves a lot to be desired. Notre Dame's defense could be just as good but their offense appears alot better than the vols? With all this 'fence-riding' said what is a man to do? Throw a porterhouse on the grill...fire up a Jack and whatever for us rednecks and some of that green beer for the more sophisticated ND folk...bet 5 cents with your girl...and let's all have a good time. fwiw, the numbers I keep have ND by 18, but I find that hard to believe...but I've really never frightened any bookies that I know of. :mj07:
