To the hockey forum:

First off, ks, it was very nice of you to post a thread urging me to stay in the hockey forum. You are a stand up guy. I am posting one final time today as I feel I owe it to everyone who posted in this thread and for the over 100 e-mails I have received since stating my position about this forum overall. I did not have one bad e-mail for the record which was nice.

To clear some things up, it was not just one incident that made me leave. It was a culmination of many incidents from asshole posters who are not even cappers because they never post a play. They post garbage that has nothing to do with capping and I personally feel it brings down different forums as it should be moved to General. I know I am not alone in this matter from the e-mails I received. So when nothing had been done after my countless attempts at having these idiots be accountable for their actions I decided "why should I put up with it when nothing is being done about it?"
If I was to bash back which is what I was told to do, then I would not only be lowering myself to their level but also I would become what these idiots have made me to hate when I see this garbage.

Overall, most of the people on this forum are great. I have seen way too many great cappers leave due to bashing. I see them posting at other boards. It makes no sense to me to allow these idiots an opportunity to post. It seems MJ's would rather lose quality cappers than ban jerks. In all my business dealings you keep your best customers happy. As Cie Grant put it in the CFB Forum, it is not MadJack that made this forum great it is all the posters who made this forum what it is.

If any of you want you can get my e-mail from Jack as we are not allowed to post our e-mail address. Dr. S. and many others on this site have my e-mail address as well and they would gladly give it to you. I will pop in now and then to read a few of my fav cappers but I will never post here again. As many of the people who e-mailed me said they understand that I am not going to post again as they feel it is a matter of PRINCIPLE.

Thank you to ks, hotduck, sasha, robbo, ddubs, grooven, heleanth, skulldog, emmitt, white rabit, penguinfan, whaler, vinnyhockey, VMARAHEJ and DR.S for posting a reply in this thread and a thank you to the many e-mailers. I will gladly e-mail anyone back who e-mails me. I wish everyone all the best in this forum and continued success.

TB is playing the dreaded 4th game in 6 nights tonight. Sens have played very well over their last 8 games. Talked with a few of the players early this morning and I think they jump on TB early and win this game by 2 or 3 goals. No lean on the total. Lalime is in nets tonight. Take care guys and gals. Well, after reading your post, Horns, I can see that this is the result of a buildup of things that have happened over time. I can understand your position and certainly respect your decision to leave.

However, let me take one more try at influencing you to reconsider. Granted, there are a-holes out there that seem to relish pissing off other posters. There are also no-it-alls that will always tell you why you don't understand the game. BUT, for every one of them there are a great number of people that look forward to your posts, your insight, your humor and, for some, your friendship.

I remember the first interchange I had with you. I told you that I thought you should post the number of units plus or minus with your record. Remember that? You got kind of mad at me and I felt bad because I didn't want that. If I knew then what I know now, I would not have made that post.

Since then, my respect for you and your knowledge of the game has elevated you to the pinnacle of experts in my hockey world!

Horns, you may make a point by leaving, but those of us that get your point and are hurt by it are not the ones you intend to make the point to, if you understand my gibberish.

In any case, my best wishes are with you and I hope you find a better place to post your valued posts. I also hope you will change your mind and not leave us.

I just went thru a big hulla balu about starting threads about announcing your leaving etc.

BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT.

ND, You really need to reconsider for all the reasons stated above, but most of all becasue of the PRINCIPLE OF THE THING.

If posters like yourself continue to leave when this type of thing happens there never will be a good site to go to. There are always going to be a few idiots no matter where you go hell even in life you have to put up with people like this. But in a smaller environment like a sports posting forum, IT IS IMPERATIVE NOT TO LET THE IDIOTS TAKE OVER AND RUN OFF QUALITY CAPPERS LIKE YOURSELF.

IMO Jack does a damn good job here and I think the popularity of this site proves that, but we have to help by not letting these idiots win and ND IMO YOU SHOULD BE STAYING AND FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT NOT TUCKING TAIL AND RUNNING (leaving)

ND, there are alot more guys here that will be HURT by your decision to leave than helped because of your PRINCIPLE to leave.

I know what you are feeling about getting crapped on and you are right about all that should be in the general forum, which most of it is, but don't let a couple ***holes ruin it for you or more importantly ruin it for all of us because of your leaving.

SUCK IT UP BUDDY AND HANG IN HERE WITH THE REST OF US
