looks pretty good to me......hate laying points on the road but this looks like as good a time as any:

Buff as div dog off ats win....0/7
NE as div fav off away win.....6/0

I disagree. The line looks about where it should be. First off, BUFF is probably my least confident team as far as a bet goes -- bad QB, poor coaching (since Levy departed), weak OL, primadonna players -- I don't like (and rarely bet) this team.

However, both teams come off a bye and this is a division rivalry game. It's very rare for a road div favorite to be laiying over 4 unless it's a total mismatch. BUFF defense has shown some life in the two games, and NWE did not exactly scorch the scoreboard in the weak effort in ARZ two weeks ago. BUFF whipped the Pats 30-zip last year on the home field. This is the game of the year for NWE. Meanwhile, this is just another game for the Pats.

Ther eis a trend that says to go against defending Super Bowl champs in the first four games the next season. While that has not proven successful so far this year, I still think there is merit to the idea that the SB champs are giving extra points. Since the Pats are 2-0 and playing an 0-2 team, this line is going to be inflated towards the Pats.

I'm not suggesting a play on BUFF (yet), but I think layng this number is a big mistake. Thie kind of game has 16-13 Pats last second FG and win written all over it.

I'm open to counter-thoughts, of course -- but that's my view.

interesting. i thought the line seems much higher than it should be. i figured it would be 3.5 or 4 at most. while neither jacksonville nor oakland will contend for a super bowl, i still dont consider those losses to be 'bad losses' for the bills.

and that buffalo defense is pretty damn good. no, they didnt play the most explosive offenses but holding any team in the nfl to < 14 points these days is excellent and buffalo has been playing good defense for the last year and a half.

actually, buffalo looks like a very good bet to me. i dont think the pats will ever lead by 10+ points at any point in the game, thus buffalo should always be one good drive away from the money

bills defense at home the L9 games (all of last season and their opener this year) has allowed just 12.4ppg and allowed more than 20 points just once in that span. i just think its going to take too much for new england to cover.

i am no genius, an di am sure you some of you guys better at #'. if you were not to bet on ne. why would you bet on buff ? why even play the game ? why ask a bad team to play well for you ?

oak should have beaten the bills by 10. on 4 & 16 ryan pulled the troops back and bledsoe completed an 80 yd bomb to make it close.

ne defense is better than oak, and so is their off. furthermore, the bills still have that statue back there - bledsoe. he has no real rec either. moulds is not the same guy he was a few yrs ago.

maybe a great spot to take a home dog, but i don't see it. to's and fg will be the only way this one is close.jmo

buf not that bad

buf not that bad

i dont think buffalo is as bad as that record shows. they lost on the last play against jax while scoring 10 points (jax only gave denver Off. 6 and Tenn 13) Game against oakland coulda been won only TD came off rookie Baker biting on a bad pump fake, buff played bad and was in that game because of that D. This is a HUGE rivalry game and lets face it Buf is due. They will be up for this game. Belicheck's book came out with him taking pot shots at buffalo. i have a strange feeling on this game. dont pick new england on your survivor pool, at least i wouldnt. I smell the upset!! just my thoughts!

I hope the b'lo pick works out for you. However, just for conversation sake,I thought that I read that NE is going for the NFL record tying 18th straight victory this week at B'lo.If so,I'd consider that more than just another road game for them motivationally.Having said that,as the defending SB champ they will be a bet against look,if not a play for me every week following an ATS cover like last week vs Ariz.I will start playing the NFL after another week of this years stats are available.Wish everyone the best this weekend.I'll be watching from my boat while Silver Salmon fishing on the Kenai River for the last time this year.

Bledsoe hasn't fared to well against his old team either throwing 7 ints in 4 games. Im not sold on the Bills offense. ranked 29th in the league scoring 10 pts a game. i still like taking a good defense only -5.5 on the road.

I'm on the Buff's as well...Don't know about the outright win, but it will be CLOSE! Bills have played two pretty good defenses in Jags and Oak and the Pats have played INDY who has weak "D" and Zona....Bills will definetly be up for this one as they don't have another home game for two weeks. Bledsoe still has a little left in him for games like these.

Bej and edludes are on the money. I think NE will be looking at that 19th straight/record breaking game at home against Miami next week.
Love NE - 5.5.
