Opened @ 4, already at 6 at most places. Could this line get bet up to +7' or 8 by Sunday??

If so would seem to be a lot of value in Dallas, as a home dog of 8.

Sexlexia...
I think it's a crazy line now...

...not that I'll be on either team, but road fav of 6 at an unbeaten team?

Forget about last week...and people seem to be pointing to the quality of teams Dallas have beaten...
...but the list of NE's conquests isn't exactly mind-blowing either...
Jets, Buff, Cinci, Browns...4 of the bottom 5 D's in the NFL!!!...SD 11th worst, but tied 3rd worst for y/pass @ 8.0!!!

How do we stack Dallas up against that lot?? I'm just not sure.

Purely from season stats, this is one of the most even games I've ever seen...
Rushing: 4.5 to 4.7
Run D: 3.6 to 3.6
Pass: 8.63 to 8.55 y/pass.
Pass D: 5.54 to 5.75 y/pass!!!

Yet somehow one team is likely to be -6 or more by game time...and the road team to boot!!

Do we rate NE's D better? Maybe...remembering of course where 21 of Buff's points came from...

Like I said, I won't be playing either team, but the line looks just mad!

Colts lastyear...NE this year

Colts lastyear...NE this year

This reminds me of lastyear when the Colts went into Dallas catching 1 pt. I believe everyone was GLAD to be getting 1 with Manning and Co. Dallas won SU and ATS. NOT saying that will be the outcome, but as Mr. Christo pointed out these 2 teams are VERY SIMILAR, played in our eyes ALOT of sub par talent and dispatched of them in easy fashions. Then comes MNF, oops.
I just DONT think that New England (the talking heads SuperBowlChamps, "they are who we thought they were") can go in here laying that many points, lines makers are telling us that Dallas and Cinncinati basically are the same team? I think this will be a better to game to watch and enjoy then bet but I would SURELY take the points and would be or may be enticed to throw a unit on it IF the line climbs to 8 or better:com: BOL

I do think people underestimate the Dallas D. I know they played two bad O's the last two weeks, but in those 8 quarters they have only given up 3 points on D.

Remember St.L scored on a kickoff return as well.

Dallas D hasnt given up a TD in 10 Q's.

They finally have Newman back, but still havent had their two top corners play together since Henry is now gone.

Ellis is also back, be it only in a pass rush role.

People forget they were missing their top CB, a pro bowl LB, & starting DT when they gave up 35 to the G-Men.

Patsie's win big. Brady is the best QB in the NFL.
N.E Oline is top notch. Give Brady 3-4 seconds to throw and he will burn you everytime. IMO Dallas DB's are amongst the weakest in the NFC.
You can have success throwing on the Boys.
I don't trust Dallas' secondary. It's been a issue for them for some time now. They will be exposed when they play N.E .

Interesting considering Newman could be the top cover CB in the NFC. Just him being on the field improves the D immensely.

A. Henry leads the NFL in picks & he missed the game last week.

Brady's passing at 74%, Moss leading the NFL with 7 TDs. If nothing else throws jump ball to Moss, who's going to cover him? Plus coaching, Cowbillies may have beaten Colts last year, but the coach was Parcells. You won't see any Dallas late drives with no time outs throwing the ball down and outside to stop the clock.

Maybe thats because they played 4 of the 5 worst D's in the league and 5 of the bottom 7 in pass D?

Could have just a little something to do with it, no?

Still think Dallas' secondary is good?
