This team is focused. They lost in week 1 when they cut Milloy 5 days before Bills game, heads were not in that game, lost it before they took the field. Lost a game they should have won in week 4 to redskins, played very sloppy, Brady had 3 int's and still only lost by 3. Sice then they have run the table.

5-0 in reg. season against playoff teams, colts were 2-3 against playoff teams, with both wins coming against Titans...

Colts 7-1 on the road (impressive), Titans are the only playoff team they beat on the road... Pats undefeated at home... weather a possible factor, will not be in the 50's like it was in KC...

BIG DIFFERENCE. KC's defense is like a wet papertowel, PATS is like a piece of steel. I'll take the home team with the better defense laying the minimal 3 points, thank you. I really don't think INDY has the type of D to slow Brady, who is the best QB in the NFL, not manning.

Just a hunch and my hunches have been pretty good this year. NE wins this by 2 TD's+. Denver and KC let Colt receivers run at will. NE will delay Colt receivers from running routes and apply more hurry-up passes from Manning. I see 2-3 NE intercepts. Game will be over by 3rd quarter!

Fraud was a stretch, but honestly I am not very impressed w/ the teams that they beat this year. Yes, they are good at home. But the Dolts have ain't too shabby on the road.

Hey Dizzayton. Not disagreeing with your choice of team or winning spread. But want you to think about the numbers 11 particularly and 16 also. I would venture to guess that you could count on one hand the number of times 11 has been landed on by any team in the last ten years. And sixteen is a little more likely, 3 field goals and a converted touchdown, but not hit too often either. Just something to ponder.

gotta be honest. ill still put my money on tom brady in a big game long before i put it on peyton manning. brady is a winner. manning is a qb with every single tool in the world....but cant be trusted in a big game. hes gone a long way toward clearing his name in that regard this year, but ill still take brady over manning.

I would too. Hell, NE hasn't lost a game at home ALL year....kinda like KC last week. Vegas is licking their chops on this one fellas....heavy NE money will be coming in very shortly....why? Because

a. Manning can't win the big game
b. Colts have no defense
c. Brady is a much better QB(as has been noted by many cappers here)
d. It will be cold in NE
e. NE has not lost at home this year
f. NE has the better coach


Line is a 3..but that seems about 3 or 4 pts. too low based on NE's public image and these facts listed above.

You keep hanging your hat on ONE game Pacer. Your argument is weak beyond belief. Yes the Pats lost to the Bills but the Bills were on fire early in the season and we had just cut Milloy. Get over it, the Bills would have destroyed the Dolts if they played them in week one. Say what you want about the Bills, they are MUCH better than their record indicates.

You're the one who continually states that Manning is "on fire" insinuating that he has momentum coming into the game then turn around and say week1 is no different then week 16 in regard to the Bills/Pats game. Shows how ignorant you are. Really, try to come up with something as good as being 8-0 against teams with a winning record!:moon:

i dont really buy that. theres a consensus on both dogs right now.

plus, the general public has been (and always will be) enamored with high scoring offenses. thats why the rams and chiefs were heavy public choices all year. thats why the rams have been popular as a whole the last few yrs. thats why theres always a consensus on dallas and sacramento in the nba every night. you know what i mean?

i do know that a lot of people look at this game and see a team that has put up 41 and 38 points in the playoffs the L2 weeks..... and theyre getting points this week.

it has nothing to do with "trap line" or "revernse psychology" or anything like that.

it simply has to do with belichick being a great coach when it comes to devising schemes to stop high powered offenses.

just how i see it. not knocking manning. just saying i think brady is better and the neng defense is better. homefield doesnt really matter to me. nor does the weather. both teams will be cold. im just playing what i feel is the tougher football team

I meant that the Pats ALSO BEAT the Titans. I guess I should have explained it in further detail to prevent your feeble mind from going into overdrive trying to figure it out.

Pacerfan, yes I am a Pats fan and I will give your Colts credit for their great year, but I must disagree with your line of thinking. First of all the Pats played a very strong schedual this year. Their 2 losses were to weak teams but they were able to win the big games they played at Philly,Miami,Denver,Indy and the Jets. At home tey were very impressive with wins over Tenn 2,Dallas Miami to name a few. What was more Impressive is the defense was awesome posting three shut outs. The defense has allowed 12 td passes and had 30 take aways. Those are impressive numbers. Secondly, Manning has been awesome this year, but to say that Brady isnt as good. Look at the numbers, as a starter the guy (I think) is 30-12 and 4-0 in the playoffs. He is very good at reading coverages and spreads the ball around. The guy should have been inthe pro bowl this year because all he does is win. I think that this will be a great game,but I will go with the home team with the better defense.

Some people keep saying how well the colts are playing, granted their offense is playing extremely well, but their Defense was very shaky against the Chefs. Colts scored every time they got the ball and still only beat the Chefs by 7. Plus when you add the facts of the Chefs missing a field goal and Holmes fumbling deep in Indy territory, this game could of easily went the other way.

Colts are a good team, just think NE is a well rounded team with an excellent Defense and defense wins championships, of course there are exceptions...gl all

I don't know if this is a coincidence or a fluke or whatever but here we have the two best scoring defenses (on a 100 yd basis) both playing at home in the championship games......you can decide for yourself......I'll take the Pats and Eagles in a teaser
