Cool site, estimates the value of your home and is tied to Microsofts virtual world to give you pictures in some cities. Fairly accurate in our area was wondering how it stacked up in any of yours. Anyway something new to play with, my Realtor friends may find it useful.

It would be a great site...if it actually worked. Completely useless for Indiana..I put in 5 different addys and got zilch. Seems they only have 4 updated zipcodes for us :shrug:

Cool site...Got the pictures of my house and everything...but I don't really understand it - it says since I bought the house 3 years ago it appreciated 17.9%, but the market value of the house is $ 20,000 less than what I paid. They have the correct sale date and what I paid and everything... :shrug: hippo =

Am I reading these numbers wrong? Shouldn't the market value be 17.9% higher than what I paid?

i checked out a few of my houses on this site & like spursdynasty said it doesn't have the correct bedrooms or bathrooms......so at this point i wouldn't put real creedance into their values.

It is a cool site...however, the photos aren't up to date..my home had a pool put in the back yard two years ago. Its my house..with no pool. Its assessed value is about the same as two years ago, too.

I have been using this site for a few months. very cool, and it will improve over time.

i read an article about zillow.com and their founders in a realtor magazine last month. Pretty cool site, but don't know how useful it is right now. The article said that the website was in its virgin stages and would be the most influential site on the internet in a few years. Although im sure most website designers would say the same thing

This is pretty close to the appraisal I just received if you count the non-updated information. Our house now has 4 bedrooms instead of 3. The house next door to ours is listed as 17 sq foot less but listed as a 4/3 which ours is.

They have their house listed as $273K and the appraisal came back at $280K today. So I would say that is pretty accurate.
