Huskers have been unimpressive against 3 pretty weak teams imo. Posted in another thread that their top CB being out has exposed flaws in the secondary and LB groups. Dennard is back practicing and it is expected he will play a bit on Saturday to knock some of the rust off prior to Wiscy.

Offense has issues on the line, but still has big play potential with Martinez feet and decent athletes at other skill positions.

Considering the yardage Weber and Bowling Green put up on the Cowboys, Nebraska should easily put up 45+ points.

As for the D, a spread attack like Wyoming runs is more suited to the schemes the Pelini's like to employ. The d-line will have no issue getting pressure on their own without blitzes, leaving the back 7 to have a field day.

Obviously a possible look-ahead with Wiscy on deck but the team knows it has struggled despite being 3-0. Offense is still trying to click under new O-coordinator, somewhat new offense and different blocking scheme. The Defense starters haven't been awarded their blackshirts by Bo yet. as much as they have been inconsistent so far, there are quite a few signs that point to a big blow out here.

I was looking at Nebraska for a small play but the line went up just enough that I'm not sure now. I agree with Poon that Nebraska will put up 45+.

I also play a little to the contrarian side on games like this and it seems to do well. Early in the year when a team has a big game on deck for the next week, I like them to step up the focus if they haven't played up to potential. This is a perfect spot for that. Their D is suppose to be good this year but hasn't showed a lot of dominance. I think this week they dial it up and show what they're made of going into the big game. First few games worked out the kinks and now they can start doing things they need to do to be at the highest level they can next week. You can't do that if you have a bad defensive game this week. If their D plays bad this week then IMO they're in BIG trouble next week. I really think they hold Wym to single digit points this week.

I think Wyo has trouble scoring--Neb with their speed builds up a big led and pulls the good players early to get ready for Wisky.. They cover and an under--gl:shrug:
