I first checked your posts mainly because of your name. I'm a sucker for anything that sounds like they are looking at the game from a numbers standpoint and keeping emotion out of it. Despite my best effort, I cannot make sense of your information. I'm not trying to be an ass but you have to work on your formattting. Your post is a bunch of numbers jumbled together that is very difficult to interpret. You could be posting gold for all I know but it is going unappreciated.

jokingly:

corn fed nebraska vs watermelon fed auburn

nebraskas callahan is perfecting the offense and will be a major contender for the national championship in 2007.

with that said, auburn can't stop the pass.

nebraska wins this bowl game and goes over the total

Hope your right Joe De...I have the corn by a little bit myself...hey, you were right on about the Cats and their homer advantage...one defensive player said it looked like Commonwealth statidum had moved to Nashville :com:

Soulhat...that's the same reason I like to use numbers also...in spite of my good intentions bias will always try to creep in on my decision making process.

I'm pi$$ed about the formatting also...I haven't found a way to correct for it yet...if you or anyone know of any solution pls let me know. I just copy and paste directly from a spreadsheet and it comes out like it does?

Here's the columns from left to right.

1. Team Rating
2. Schedule Strength (Sagarin)
3. Line
4. Site of Game (H or A)
5. Points scored
6. Points allowed
7. Margin of Victory
8. Line difference (Margin + Line)
9. 50% of Number 8

Team Rating = 2 + 8 + 9

So, if your interested...plug it in your spreadsheet and go at it?

Forgot 'Opponent'...comes after Site of Game

nebraska wins this game IMO...2 starting LBs(best 2) suspended as well as backup RB who gets 8-10 carries a game...auburn cant play before noon under tubberville with the exception of 2004

nice info wareagle...makes me feel a little better, but I've learned never to underestimate them...they threw up a clunker or two but did beat both Florida & LSU...although don't think they will near as motivated...to say the least...as they were against their 2 SEC rivals.
