Jim Rome made a comment today when talking about the firing of Solich that some of the players don't want to practice and others want to boycott the bowl game. Has anyone heard this or any other info? Thanks.

This was from Tuesday's news and notes from college football news site:

Nebraska
The Husker football players held a closed-door ?players only? meeting on Monday. The players would not discuss the nature of the meetings, but Omaha TV station KETV, citing two anonymous sources close to the program, reported that a large number of players would leave the team if interim head coach Bo Pelini was not named as Frank Solich?s permanent replacement. The TV station also reported rumors that the team may stop practicing and could even boycott its Alamo Bowl game against Michigan State, if the coaching situation was not resolved quickly. ? Meanwhile, the Omaha World-Herald is reporting that Pelini has been offered the job to replace Mike Stoops as the co-defensive coordinator on the Oklahoma coaching staff. Neither Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops nor Pelini would comment on the issue.
