I always thought hiring Callahan was a mistake, but this is amazing. Down 38-0 in the 1st half to a very average Okie St.

Has their talent level slipped that bad since he arrived, or is it poor coaching? My guess would be a recruiting problem.

Just watched cry baby Callahn's post game show-he creid alot--did you see all the fans leaving at halftime--they are a bunch of spoiled babies also

Callahan wasn't Nebraska's first, second or even third pick for coach....All he did as head coach was take Oakland from Super Bowl to worst record in NFL in 1 year + had the whole team quit on him...(Similar to what he has done at Nebraska)

The AD screwed everything up at Nebraska

Best thing for Huskers would be to can the AD and Callahan and bring in someone with roots going back to Osborne and Solich (maybe Bo Pellini or Turner Gill?)

Until then, dont' bet on Huskers unless you get 20-30 points + bet on team total for over with whover Nebraska plays

Yeah, the sickest part was they gave him a 3 year extension after the Wake Forest game. There will be much pressure from High spending boosters for his dismissal.

Turner Gill would be a great choice to get back to roots of Nebraska football and to recruit again. Sick part was that Callahan told some of these high profile recruits they would be preparing for the nfl by playing on his team. Boy, any publicity the recruits are getting right now is just plain bad, someone please send a PR rep. to Lincoln asap.

The extension came with a cheaper buyout so it isnt quite as dumb as it appeared now or even at the time. Next week is being dubbed as the Dipshit Bowl - Fran v Callahan.

Nebraska is in serious trouble. The last hiring was such a fiasco and Callahan's players wont fit other systems well I dont know how they get somebody worthwhile to come in. They probably have to take Gill-a stretch right now-or kiss Pellini's ass and beg him to come back.

Pederson screwed Pellini so bad I don't think he would consider coming back unless Pederson was gone too. ..Osborne lost the govenors race...he's available...

Yeah I dont think Pellini will come back either. However, I think Turner Gill would and he could put the family of husker coaches back together again. Solich would probably come back as a coordinator and some of the other guys would too. Just a guess.
