Anyone that makes a living as part of a parasitic process should not be proud of it. I am not saying he should be ashamed, but bragging about it seems at a minimum to be in very poor taste. The people that are giving out the loans are the ones that should be ashamed, but he is feeding off the irresponsibility of the lenders and borrowers both. You think he should be proud of that?

The parasites are the losers who default and don't pay back money they owe.

Irresponsible borrowing or lending should be critiqued and not accepted. Making a living off of others' responsibility should never be a goal or a happy occurrence.

So in our current housing crisis do you consider the parasites to be the losers who defaulted and didn't pay back their home loans, or the banks who never should have been lending unqualified people money?

This is called Predatory Lending and the government of course turns a blind eye to this vicious trap.

That is criminal charging someone that much interest on a loan.

I think the original plan Saint posted is definitely criminal. The other scenario that Jamaica1997 talked about is just fine. If you think he's the problem, you should try owning a rental property. It is a crap shoot and I have yet to win (ie., getting a responsible tenant).

At some point, two people make a business decision. The part that drives me nuts is that everyone focuses on the people that get the stuff taken away or that are getting evicted. What about the guy that has the original loan, mortgage, etc.? Why is it okay for him to get fucked over? Not all of us are callous businesses or corporations. Some of us are people that got stuck with property that we are trying to make the best of.....and not just walk away from (like a lot of losers do). I'm sure a lot of you have never been anything but the consumer, but being on the other side is difficult and sometimes scary.
