obviously you care about her and thats fine....but there is a fine line between acting like you care and beginning to let the situation consume your thoughts...
now for the sake of discussion...when it comes to devious and downright cruel shit..girls are just as if not more ruthless then men....your situation does not warrant really either of these adjectives ..but certainly she was seeing this guy while she was seeing you...the timing of the whole situation could not make this any more clearer...that probably stings a bit but that is most likely the truth...and for her to tell you now just goes to show you what type of person she is...even more disturbing would be if she was lying and just trying to guage a reaction from you...

This guy she hooked up with may have been from a past relationship, she doesn't necessarily have to have been with him and Kick at the same time. It's like riding a bicycle. She got back on when the opportunity presented itself. She may have had regrets when the original relationship ended.

Since Iam somewhat of a professional on these matters, I thought I should chime in!
Aside from the fact she was the "coolest chick" you ever went out with, what else did she have. Your how old? Im guessing late 20s, early 30s?
Now, had you guys ever talked about a commited relationship? That will tell you alot
I have been on both sides of these things, and let me tell you, these women out there no how to work it:nono: (Maybe some of our resident females could chime in here?) Especially the ones who have all the "tools" if ya know what I mean. Sounds like she did too!
The deal is, you need to take a two pronged approach. First do nothing as others have suggested, maybe an email at most saying congrats and that you ARE happy for her! This will only cause her more anguish, and will put the armed hand grenade back in her court, and will force her to throw it back. Believe me, this works :thefinger
But only give her that, let things settle awhile..........then when SHE calls and make her call, invite that via the email down the road. "Oh and by the way, Ive done this down here and that down here, and geez, you should give me a call so I can tell you all about this place down here" type of thing.
Now that she has taken the bait, SET THE HOOK, and start reeling HARD She will be so taken aback she will spill her guts...............
This conversation should not happen in two weeks, but before a month. And when it happens, and it will, after you have told her how wonderful things are for you in your new place. She will want to tell you how wonderful things are for her with her new deal
