Seems gambling, with real money, doesn't produce enough of a high for you. Maybe putting something else on the line of more importance will have more of an edge.

When I was younger, my boxing trainer knew that I needed some guidance, so he told me a little something that I never ever forgot, as he told me not to forget these words...."kid there's two words that will determine your destiny in life, a yes or a no, use them". I brought my kids up with those words, because believe me, I know without asking myself those words many times during my life, I wouldn't be here today. I don't think it's going to make any difference in your deciding, but hopefully someone else can get the use of this simple meaning.
