It's about that time for me and Teresa to decide where we are going on our Honeymoon next June. We've decided that we would be better off at an all-inclusive resort instead of a cruise.

If anyone has suggestions on locations as well as chains they would recommend I sure would appreciate your input.

Thanks in advance! :toast:

It was a great trip and Aruba is a neat island. Get a ground floor and the Ocean is right out back. I went swimming in the Ocean everyday. The entertainment was off the hook. Get an all inclusive package and it's all you can eat and all you can drink. I only drank at night, saw some people get quite loaded during the day. Bar is open from 11 AM - 2 AM. They have a gym, watersports, and so much more. Iguanas running around everywhere so bring a camera. Casino with sports wagering minutes away you can get driven to by a shuttle. Flat screen televisions all over the resort. It was fun to bet on the games at the casino and come back and watch them at the resort. I'm telling ya it was Paradise. I plan on coming back, almost booked it again this year but opted for Antigua instead. I'll probably go back next year. It was an excellent choice, one of my favorite vacations ever. Good luck with your choice Brent :)

Personally,I would either do Tabacun Resort in Costa Rica. I have mentioned this place before and there is no other place like it. Their 30-something freshwater spring pools that are naturally heated due to the spring originating from a mountain spring on the side of a volcano. Lake Arenal is right there and the spa is amazing as is the horseback riding and canoe trip. They have a beautiful waterfall that is somewhat difficult to get to but you can drive to it and there are some stairs maybe two hundred to get to the pool underneath the fall but you will never get to do that again.
Either there or if it is a beach atmosphere that you want then I can tell you that Aruba is nice yes, so is Punta Cana, Curacas and Curacao, but none of them can hold a candle to the best white sand beaches in the world in Turks and Caicos in the Providenciales.
Some of the best snorkeling in the world and by far the best beaches. I have been to an awful lot of places and if you want marital bliss then that is where I would go. Well actually I would go to Bora Bora again but too many hours in a plane.

Hope that helps,
FDC

I like Sandals because it is adults only. Montego Bay is the one I liked best of the 3 Sandals we've been to.

We stayed at the Hard Rock Punta Cana and it had a nice room, but everything seemed like it was a long walk away (casino, pool, beach, etc.).

If you want a cheaper option, the Riviera Maya in Mexico is pretty nice for the money. Bahia Principe was really nice and I know there are a lot of others people have recommended down that way.

Some things that are important to me: Flight length and distance to resort from airport. It sucks spending a day in the air and on a shitty bus going to the resort, so I like to keep this time to a minimum.

Stud - my college roommate was from St. Lucia, and I can tell you that you will not find a better all-inclusive resort than Sandals St. Lucia.

If I had to leave this country, St. Lucia would be #1 on my list.:toast:

As much as I hate to give Noley credit - 6/5 is 100% correct - that fawker got me through a rainy day at Epcot by telling me where to go.

One time I booked a a mega vacation through Nole. He got me rates that were better than the websites like Hotwire and Orbitz etc.....

Awesome!
I recommend him! :0074
