I'm confused as to what you need to know about cleaning your hard drive? Do you want to format and start over? Or just get rid of all your internet history and content?

Regarding that link, you probably want to skip the part on deleting the cookies.

You'll also want to do a disk defrag which you can find in your Program files by going here:

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools

Running a Defrag will enable Windows to read your filesystem faster.
