I know a few of you have been in the last bit and I wanted to hear what you thought. My wife wants to take the kids for a long weekend in may but I would prefer to wait until june( when school is out). My question is how will the crowd compare in size for a weekend in may vs mid-week in june. I know that obviously it will be jammed in june but is it not jammed on the weekends in may as well :shrug: Also for you guys that just went what was the average wait time for the young kids rides? Thanks guys

We been there all times of the seasons peak season is a nightmare u will wait in line forever.
They do have a nice deal going now for dates in June to August were you buy 5 nights hotel & park passes & get the dinning package free.

I just went in March, but I have no idea about going in June.
As already mentioned, fastpass is a must. Learn how to use it, and use it often. Have a great time!

fast pass as much as you can, which is like oncer every 2-3 hours. But get the passes, especially if you go back to the park, the never check the times on them. At least when we went through! 
Expect around 1 hour minimum on ride time waits if it is a popular ride, other wise 30 minutes on some of the lesser known/popular rides. What park going to? How old are the kids? I highly suggest Animal Kingdom, unless on the true Disney character hunt then Magic Kingdom. I would suggest a water park as well with that heat at that time, for smaller kids Blizzard Beach.

Thanks guys I will have to check out those sites. Dog, my kids are 3.5 and 2.5 and we will only have 2 days if we go in may. Animal kingdom will be one and have not decided on the other, but probably magic kingdom.
can't go wrong on those two with those ages. Make sure to get to Animal Kingdom early, you must do the safari, I thought it was very cool! Kids loved the closeness of the animals, seriously walking around your vehicle.
The shows in the big tree, you'll know it where you are there. The 3-D bug show was very well done! Watch out for the surprises!!!

Dogface thanks for all the info. We are going down last week of May for a week and plan on doing Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Will definitely use FastPass.
UGA if you plan on doing a character meal you need to make advance reservations. My kids loved it 2 years ago and the food was really good. (buffet) We are doing the Crystal Palace for lunch.

Thanks man, looks like it is going to be in june so we will probably do more than 2 days, but the two you mentioned are locked in. The safari sounds awsome and I know my kids will love it. Thanks for all the help
