Well don't do what I did, 12 pack of shlitz, and a porno, now have 4 kids and shoot i don't know maybe one on the way, but see if a first anniversary can survive that then you can make it for the long haul. (17 years and counting) good luck.

Romantic bubble bath

Romantic bubble bath

Candles, champaign, soft music, tub full of bubbles...and a big ribbon around your johnson.....worked well for me.....22 years last week...:)

I gave my ex wife a paid electric bill, water, mortgage, tuition for her education, and automobile payment. Said happy birthday, hope you like it, wrapped it all up in flesh colored paper with a big bow on top, layed it out on the bed. Whispered nothings in her ear, went to sleep as I had to get up and go to work the next morning and she wanted to watch Seinfeld.
Ten years of marital bliss, I still miss that gal.

That sure sounds romantic to me. The least you could have done was put the bills inside a jewelry box.

I had already frozen her charge card in a block of ice by that time so she didn't have one....wait a minute yes she did.....thats were she kept her three carat tenace bracelet and engagement ring also three carats, and her diamond earrings, necklaces, three watches...thats what that was....yea good idea......when I never get married again at least not to a sighted american woman, I will try to remember that.

The jewerly box thing works very well. I just got here one from the our 11 month daughter on Mothers Day( Boy I should have done that sooner, what a night that was.) .

I full day @ a spa and then with the flowers leading her up to the bedroom( there's gotta be something in it for him:thefinger )

Good luck and congrats

auspice, sounds like a winner...but I'm not sure that will get the job done...still have until 6/15...was going to go with the pug puppy she has been dying for, but that has to wait a year or so....probably will do the romantic dinner/jewelry box idea...thanks for the help so far
if you consider a pug do some research first (FOR REAL) I was interested in them as well as the english bulldog I LOVE THEM but it was brought to my attention that they have been known to have serious breathing problems and you'll be pulling out your check book a bit more than you would normally have to on vet bills:(

TBonezo295, I have an English Bulldog (Purdue Pete). You are correct in the breathing problems. Also sensitve skin. I would not trade him for anything. He is the coolest dog I have ever had.Their facial expressions and attitude is hilarious. They look mean but it all for show. However I would not want to be the one that makes him mad. When a stranger pulls into the driveway the hair on his ass stands straight up. Happy Dog Hunting

I'd LOVE to own one of them.................I think I fell in love at the vet when I had my dog there for shots and in comes this english bull dog "HE SAT ON MY LAP:eek: AND JUST STARED AT ME" I contimplated the idea but was warned about the breathing problems costing thousands and not to mention I also hear they store water in there mouths and an hour or 2 after they drink when they shake there heads out it all comes..........so I guess a painter would be for hire frequently also LOL I do hear they are basically harmless:D I think I'll enjoy from a distance for now:D

Where did you go to shop?

There are more contemporary boxes out there you may have to look around. I know as a man the shopping around thing just thrills you.................:(

Mine is oriental looking more on the contemporary side with a big gold lock on the front which deters my teenage daughter from borrowing my jewelry:D

in any case you have time so if you see something better return the other one.

$80 is great I hate to do this to you now.......but there is one other favorite of mine ,was a gift......... AUSTINSstatues very much on the contemp. side. I have a few they are sold also in the higher end stores you can also get them at furniture store" MAN AND WOMAN embrassing" they come in black and off white about $100 just ask some one at store if they carry " AUSTIN SCULPTURES" they'll know what your talking about:) if the jewelry box isn't working out.................:)

Hell...I just had the FIRST anniversary too. Man, I feel for some of you guys.....my woman is as easy going as they come. Took her to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, spent 80 bucks on dinner, and she was mine for the night! We decided to save money on goofy gifts and we are heading to Vegas in a few weeks. Now that is a nice gift!
