Need IP Address Help!!

Hey guys, need a little help in my investigation.

A large group of friends, including me, frequent an internet guestbook, where you can post and talk to each other, etc.

There is some douche-bag that thinks it is funny to get on there and curse and ruin our fun. I have the IP address of the person and I want to find out as much about the person as possible.

Is this possible with the IP address? And if so, how?


I would LOVE to bust whoever this is, because he is getting out of line and he needs an ass whippun.

You can also try doing a whois search on the IP address. I've used this site but I'm search you can google the term and find others.

post the ip address and we'll see where it comes from. He probably has GAY-O-L though, and if so, he's going to stay anonymous. He probably will anyway regardless of his server. Lot of work to track somebody down that way.
