SERIOUSLY>>>

If you have money issues.. use the envelope system.

It seems like you pay your bills. Put the reast n CASH envelopes about what youre willing to spend.

When tat envellope is empty.... youre done. When you have your BUDGET under control.. worry about your credit...

Love ya bro.

How you pay your bills 35%
Available credit 30%
Length of credit history 15%
Mix of credit 10%
Credit applications 10%

Saving and mutual funds won't help at all. Just pay your bills on time. If you can't get a card, get a secured card and/or have someone that trusts you add your name to their card. You will get their past history on that card as well. That would give you a nice bump.

Become an authorized user on the credit card of someone with a good credit score of 715 or higher. This will help raise your credit score rather quickly. You do not have to use the card for this to work......

Cie, that doesn't work anymore. They changed some things in the FICO scoring model 1 year or so ago and that's one of the things they changed. Too many people started doing it. Actually before they changed it there were people that would add you on their credit card for a fee and it became pretty big.

Too bad. Worked well for me in my late 20's.
