I was at the So. Miss game when Watts and Galloway weny out, Iknow Galloway is out for a while but if anyone knows the extent of Watt's injury I sure would appreciate it.

As you probably know Coach Fran does not comment on injuries. He will not say whether TW will play or not.

I found out from my one and only inside source that TW is day to day. So I will try to find out later in the week how each day is coming.

That is all I know.

Remember that before the season began this backup, Brodie Croyle, had high expectations to challenge for the starting postion.

as a big hog fan i can tell you that we are expecting tyler to play.....if you watched the southern miss game he was on crutches at halftime and then at the end of the game he was caught on camera walking off the field pretty good... i heard a report the coach jumped his butt pretty good for at least not acting hurt alittle more i do not know if there is any truth to that just what i heard

That bit about Coach Fran jumping Tylers butt for not acting hurt is completely false!! I dont know where you heard that but I know for a fact that it didnt happen. Tyler lives in the house across the street from me and his foot is just fine!!! His ego on the other hand, I think is a little bruised.

Watt's went into the Southern Miss game as the #2 rated QB in the SEC. He was having a fine year. I don't understand how his ego would be hurt. It was obvious when he went out, a lot of leadership went out. I have heard he "will' be playing against the Hogs' and I sure hope so

Coach Fran did not jump Tyler for the injury but he DID tell him to hit the ground when he was coming off the field after the injury so that the trainers could come on the field and check him and (and give Brodie time to warm up and get ready).
