I would have to know more about scoring. I think Vickers and Dillon will have a better shot at racking up top 20s. Larson may have a better shot at pulling off a W.

Thanks again for the info Old School. Ended up finding a league online and i'm pretty excited about it.

keeps peace and everyone clamors around the TV's on race day hoping to be the flyer of the checkered flag outside their house the entire week.

leaning Vickers with his experience..

though I would like nothing better than to take Dillon or Larson and win the league like I did w/Rookie Kasey Kane 2004..his cost that year..yep $300,000.00

now that was a great season flying the flag..

Haha! I'll do my best! I've spent a lot of the past few days starting at driver values and playing with lineups.

I'm now leaning the Larson route myself...

I don't recall any of the veterans praising any up and coming drivers like they do this kid. He just wins... plain and simple.
You mentioned earlier about Kasey Kahne's rookie year. The biggest reason for his early success was none other than Ray Evernham. Think about years ago when Jeff Gordon had so much success and was winning 6,7, or even more races a year and multiple championships. Remember who his crew chief was? What has Jeff done since he lost Ray? Evernham was a genius.
If you are going to base your decision on resources and top notch equipment, I'd probably lean towards Dillion. But if Ganassi puts the right people around this Larson kid and they gel... he is going to have one hell of a rookie season and likely an amazing career in Nascar.

Daytona score

216

I think it will be cool if you keep track of these OS. Thanks for sharing your time and effort. Shame for Bowyer that his engine blew. Larson got himself in trouble early but rebounded nicely to almost get back on the lead lap and then Dillion dumped him. Long season ahead.
