Thinking about getting a netbook based on cost and need. Anybody have any experience with them and, if so, any recommendations? I simply need a device that allows me to surf the net efficiently, use email, maybe use word, ppt, etc. I have a desktop already for all the other stuff. Is Apple coming out with anything soon? seems right up their alley...

i have a HP mini for traveling and love it. kosar saw mine and got the acer, i think, and he loves it as well.
handy little thing for traveling, that's for sure.
just make sure you get min 2 gigs of ram.
